Luis Enrique is best fit for current chelsea and players .neigleslmann is still not convinced me .he's young raw only managed in a 1 club league ,only 35 years old hasn't won anything of note (bundesliga) with bayern . He's a bit immature and aggressive in a negative way who may get in the wrong terms with players .he reminds me of tuchel .even tuchel towards the end used to change line ups like 1 changes their clothes. Enrique managed big egos 2x winner of la liga ,good manager with playing possession based football on the ground , midfield expert, last manager to win champions league with Barcelona. Nearly got to another final vs miracle Liverpool result.

I suspect there was a bottom-half clause in Potter’s contract that saved the owners a lot in compensation. Owners probably wanted to sack him from long ago and were just biding their time.

The best news I have heard since the beginning of this year! A belated one indeed!
    This decision was long overdue!
Good luck to him in his future endeavours!
The current owners of Chelsea fc have a huge task in their hands to get it right this time around in terms of managerial appointment! This is because their first attempt was a very big mistake, at least on hindsight now!
That was certainly one thing Abrahamovic(former owner) had a magic wand for! Somehow, he always got it right every time he made managerial change!
Therefore, Todd Boehly and Co MUST do their due diligence properly in order to get it right this time around! At least, they should have learnt from this mistake going forward to avoid a repeat!
Finally, both the managers out of job such as Nieglesman, Enrique, Pochentino, etc, and those still in the job such as Jose Mourinho, Hansi Flick, Juliano Spaletti, Diego Simeon, etc should all be considered for the plum job. No need to rush it now to avoid another blunder in coaching appointment!
Whomever the Cap Fits, Let Him Wear It!
    Glory to God!

Here are some of my thoughts on this and feel free to provide your own!
Bringing in Naglesmann feels a lot like Tuchel. Lampards form shat the bed. Tuchel became available. It felt like we went after Tuchel for a few reasons but one of them being because Tuchel may not have been available at a later date.
Additionally, we had Werner and Havertz and Tuchel felt like the best person to bring the best out of them.
Pulisic’s links to Tuchel at BVB was also a plus.
Fast forward to today! Potters form shat the bed, Naglesmann became available. We are likely bringing in Naglesmann because he may not be available at a later date.
Also, we have Christopher Vivell, they worked together before. We have Nkunku coming in the summer, they’ve worked together before.
It just makes the most sense!

I get all that but our most successful managers we’ve had were high profile and had top CVS. And if there were any group of players that need that type of manager it’s this group. This ownership prefers a yes man type of manager hence the potter appointment so the REAL question is, can nagelsman manage this group of players? Is he of a figure like Conte mourinho or tuchel that the players will demand respect? From what’s available personally i would go for luis enrique or zidane.

I supported Potter's appointment and wanted it to succeed but maybe we all got carried away because he is English. The job was clearly too big for him in my opinion. It also shows you that there is no such thing as "a project" and if things aren't going the right way then the trigger will be pulled, regardless.
His League finishes with Brighton were 15th, 16th and 9th. I'm not sure that proves that he is capable of managing a top 4 side with hundreds of millions worth of players and challenging for League titles.
It was even waning at Brighton towards the end. They have progressed and look much better now after he has gone, despite selling some of their best players.
    He's a steady Premier League Mid-table manager. That's it.
It would be funny if we ender up with Rodgers and Leicester ended up with Potter. I think it's a small possibility.

    Takeaways from this:
    • The only person we should do the long term manager thing with is John Terry (Mr. Chelsea). He's the only one who deserves it.
    • A philosophy coach like Potter needs a pre season. So even the timing of his appointment was off.
    • It's going to be a while till we see an elite English manager.
    • He's not a manager fitting of the Chelsea fc profile... it sometimes looked like a farmer at a Louis Vuitton catwalk.
    Moving on...
    • Don't make the same mistake twice with Nagelsmann.
    • All eggs in 1 basket now. Get Zidane & we've got a chance at winning the UCL & playing in it next season.

The only manager that can get this team to score with the players we have is De Zerbi because his wingers do most of the scoring. Kaï, and Félix are terrible in front of goal. They probably would get Pep fired the way they miss

For me the board needs to pursue a short term agreement with Flick. He would take a break from the German National team and therefore he may not mind a short term gig. From next season the only coach I want is Jose Mourinho. We need a coach who knows us and who wants to win. Guys forget this high press coaches. They don't know what the heck they are doing. Mourinho wants Chelsea and so give it to him. Now if Mourinho will leave Roma tomorrow then please bring him in now. I appeal to all the Chelsea fans who call Mourinhos tactics park the bus. Please don't be brainwashed by jealous opposition fans. Mourinho plays a highly tactical style of football. Above all we will be able to watch Chelsea again because we will win loads.

There is one manager in my mind and I would love to have him back desperately since months ago when results weren’t good , Carlo ancelloti, the guy is a proper winner almost everywhere he goes and plays good football . Younger manager like Julian nagelsmann ect isn’t quite convince me yet , because potter in one point was link to the England job. For me nagelsmann is just in the same category as potter . But Carlo ancelloti is a guaranteed winner at big clubs

Thing with Nagelsmann is that he heavily micromanages which partly led to his sacking and also the fact he's young so there's question marks whether he could deal with the pressure of a top level English club and there's still a lot he has to learn. However, he is a process driven manager and could bring his trademark possession based style with a high press demanding everything from the squad. Also, we're practically copying the Leibzig model and Vivell has a great relationship with him. Moreover, I think the board would welcome how analytical he is so it would work in that sense. On paper Enrique seems like a good fit too but for me he doesn't have that aura about him. Still, the players would probably respect him a lot more having won a lot more honours and managed some legendary players. Then again who wouldn't dominate with that Barca team filled with Messi, Neymar, Iniesta, Busquets etc? For me I'd go for Nagelsmann and he seems like he's on his way to becoming as great as Flick.

Nr 1. FLICK, NR 2. ZIDANE, NR 3. NAGELSMAN. Chelsea dont need possesion based manager, but a counter attacking manager so Emrique wont work. Flick and Zidane know how to work with stars and egos, so they might get this Chelsea team starting to tick in a short time. No to Jose, not ever again a manager who ruins young players, Jose is toxic.

CFC put themselfs in a position where they just need to shift into formation with wingers. I get it, we have a bunch of decent CBs and elite wingbacks in club, but in same time we have Sterling, Mudryk, Madueke and Pulisic. Where's the point in forcing Havertz to play when we just can go with Sterling - Mudryk/Madueke duo with Felix up top. Pair it with Kante as CDM and Enzo -Kova/Mount as CMs. Suddenly Enzo would get a chance to involve more in attack, Kova would provide close space dribbling in center, Mount could be used as box to box CM with his work rate. If even more offensive aproach would be needed than we could put Havertz on pitch to play behind striker. Madueke is left footed right winger, Mudryk/Sterling right footed left wingers, this creates natural chanells for Chilwell and James, Kante dropped lower would cover for both of them, CB duo Badiashille - Silva should look good. So honestly i don't see the point of going 3 at the back once more with new manager. Just suit formation to resources that you have in club instead of frorcing players to play out of their positions...
