Got the same year color stage 1 tune and it’s lowered with 285s love it
Thinking of a stage 1 tune which would bump it up to 420 hp. But unsure if its good for the lifespan of the engine or gearbox. Have you faced any issues since the tune and how long have you had the tune?
@@kirre0 actually its not a problem. This s-tronic can handle over 500hp with no problem. Even over 500hp u just should take care of your gearbox and that’s it. Engine handle stage 1 as well, even with no resource losing.

After the tune, did the DSG farts go away? My DSG farts reduced a lot after the stage 1. I realy miss them.
Mine are still there! Sound is different with the exhaust though. I’ve gotten the AWE touring exhaust since this videos and they’re still there 👍🏼
what is the fuel consumption when you drive around town like this ? (without pushing it too hard)
Around 15-16 l/100km (convert to mpg if needed, hope it helps like this)
I had a few questions about the dsg. When you're in drive and pull a paddle does it automatically switch to manual mode or do you have to put it into manual mode to use the paddles? Thanks
It automatically switches when you pull a paddle but goes back to auto after about 30-60 seconds of not shifting

Yep! Mine is stage 1, ~450 crank hp

AKT - RESPAWNABLES Thank you! You can find S4’s and S5’s with similar mileage for $20-30k. I bought mine two years ago with 38k miles towards the 30k range

I have an s5 2013, what should I do to keep it tip top ?
Plenty of sunlight and water it every day. Could grow into a beautiful RS5 one day!
For real though just keep up maintenance and if there are any issues, fix them as soon as possible so the issues don’t grow. Regular oil changes w/ full synthetic. Should be good!
My s5 came from greater Chicago motors as well. I'm in west michigan

I just got it back in July. It's a black 2014 with peelers on it. Im driving to traverse tomorrow to get the apr stage 1 ecu and TCU done. I just noticed the magna sweatshirt also. I'm from grand haven. I have a few friends that have worked there over the years.
