Always happy to meet other who like yodelin. I only learned to yodel 2 years ago over the course of the summer doing landscaping with my old man, lots of practice and it paid off I’ll never be as good as Der Jodelkonig but I’ve learned a few of Franzl’s songs that I thought I’d never be able to sing. I hope Mr Lang would appreciate my story because a lot of German things like tracht or more specific lederhosen were used by both mountain and handy men, laborers, and is such how I learned the ancient song-language of the mountains.

They both cannot be compared due to Melanie has her own role model Peter Hinnen who has high pitched voice instead of Franzl. Franzl has his own vocal style such as his heavy sound. Based on history, I think Melanie was a little bit struggle when she sang Franzl's song. For example, when she sang "Mi Vata isch en Appenzeller (Schweiz version of mein vater ist appenzeller) 2008". She needs a lot of recomposition in order to make it successfully delivered. That's why she often sings Peter's songs instead.
@@kendogaming.official very interesting! I am the opposite actually. My vocal range fits better into Franzl's, i can do melanie's stuff - but it takes a lot of range development and sits in my register a little more uncomfortably haha
