The song is Tomboy by Destiny Rogers. The views on the official MV for this song literally tripled or quadrupled because LISA danced to it. It's already a good, dope song but it got better recognition!
And the singer thanked Lisa on a radio interview ❤️
It wasn't a radio show, a mutual friend met with Lisa and then called Destiny on the phone, and she thanks Lisa over the phone, which is what Destiny said in her interview of the situation

Her awra, charisma, attitude, and swag really fits with western style that's why she's the most popular member because she is different from the others no shade to other pinks i love them all but its the truth.
@@mrpiggy4031 cannot object , charisma, stage presence, attitude, but all of that in the area of dancing and performing, however if we talk vocals and everything that comes with it, she would be second to last in blackpink to fit western standards, she’s just so lacking, but all in all, i think lisa should stick to these kind of videos and performances, there she’s top-tier.
@@kaia27 if you were talking about vocals she might be not the best vocalist in the group but she's definitely has a beautiful voice, they have position base on their strength and vocals might not be the strength of Lisa but she can definitely sing and can explore more about her skills if just YG will let her do that. If you heard her collab with DJ Snake "SG" you can tell she can sing and has a range.
Now, if you were talking about the standards of western, Lisa is the closest to pass it among her members. Her voice is unique for rapping that's why western people notice her so quick. If she decided to go solo totally and being a solo rap artist she could definitely can climb up the ladder.

The singer, destiny rogers was broke n her producer almost send her back home because her song didnt get much attention. Until one day her friends told her that lisa used her song "tomboy" as a background music for lisa dance video. From that day,her song gain thousand view in many countries and saved her carrer in music. U can searh her story in YT also

There was no words only clapping sounds from the audience/judges then her smile came to the view.

I would easily say she is a great rapper, anyone who can spit lyrics like that in two non-native languages is going to get insane respect out of me. I have incredible respect when native Korean rappers get clean, passionate lines out in English. Jennie is a native English and Korean speaker by the time she went into training, and it shows. Jennie is an incredible rapper, however, what many pick up on is that some of her pronunciation is not as clean as Lisa’s. So many (and this is in a number of reviews) can understand every line Lisa says better than Jennie. Both ladies are TREMENDOUS rappers, and they deserve the places they get in BP. Lisa, she is the lead rapper for a reason so stop degrading her rap just because she is not as good as Jennie. Also some people can prefer her over Jennie and there is nothing wrong with it.
She speaks Thai, English, Korean, Japanese, Chinese and Currently learning french w/ jennie. Korean is not even her 1st neither 2nd language but she really is amazing.

YG doesn't "BUILD" anyone, what they do is identify talent and bring it to the surface. Such a claim also diminishes the achievements of the other three members and suggests that they're somehow phony at some level. If talent was buildable we'd all be superstars. I agree that Lisa is naturally blessed but I'm sure she also not only benefited from YG's training but also being combined with the other three. Both Jisoo and Jennie commented on this in Light Up the Sky.

Fun fact: this song was by Destiny Roggers and according to her she was almost supposed to be dropped by her label.. then boom Lisa and her team out of no where released lilifilm the movie using "tomboy" which tripled the views on youtube and increased the streams on spotify and basically gave Destiny another shot.. she even thanked Lisa for it. Now Destiny Roggers is writting songs for other kpop idols inc twice. Lisa's impact is insane.
