Nice One Tom They are a good tent however I had a North Face tadpole for 17 years used it for 100s of camps and it Dlaminated I sent it back to north face unber their lifetime warranty and they replaced it ! By regards Dave,Jo and Louie 👍😀🐾
Had this tent always liked it took a good wind and yeah you can put a huge amount of gear in the porch. I double guyed the ends and added a chord to the door and pegged out the door back over the tent.
Nice review Tom. Looks like a handy size little tent. I know the super small ones are very useful for saving weight and space (as in space on the ground) but sometimes just a little bit more space inside is good
agreed mate, i dont need a lot of space but this one is good to take if its a relaxed trip with not too much walking involved. the porch blew me away! cheers for watching.
Looks good! My next solo tent will be the SMD Gatewood Cape and Serenity Net tent. I like the way it doubles as a poncho to cover me and my backpack. I would love to go the cuben fiber route, but it is crazy expensive.
Looks like you got a bargain Tom. Congrats on the 2k subscribers, well deserved. Can't wait to see how this latest addition to your collection handles the coastal conditions :)
TOM OUTDOORS I'm using the OEX phoxx 1 and a tarp at the moment but I do like the idea of a porch it looks like I could cut out some weight and bulk that way, also pitch and packing time.
Hi Tom. Ive got one these, great tent. Worth getting the footprint for it for camping in the woods. The footprint also covers the porch area, which is useful. You can use the outer tent with just the footprint for a good spacious free standing bivy tent. Adjusting the straps on either end between the inner and outer are the key to a good taught pitching ive found. ATB macker
Good review, I watched your other reviews. Watched the one on the Jack Wolfskin Grossamer loads as it was between this and that. I decided the zephyros 1 in the end. Got it new for £100 from Cotswold Outdoors. Anyway just thought I'd let you know you played a part in my decision. Thanks
Nice one Tom con grat's on 2000 sub's. This was on my list a few years ago but went for the vango banshee 200 for a bit more space think I paid £69 from go outdoors on a price match. Keep the vid's coming
Careful with the thin piece of fabric which connects the inner to the fly mate...mine ripped after using it 3 times...once it’s gone the tent is buggered because the inner isn’t free standing. Shame...other than that a lovely tent...by the way...that outer fly rolls back to a toggle which is located on the inner 👍
As you would say.....''decent''....................a very good review mate and a great price to-boot. Once again i've got myself way behind on comments, I have been watching your vids on my telly(amazon stick) therefore cant comment until I re-watch on my PC and lately just have not had the free-time...................cheers,Stu.
Congrats on the 2k subs Tom. Great review on the Zephyros. I've been looking for a tent for my motorcycle camping. Had sort of decided on the Vango Banshee but think I prefer the Zephyros now, ATB mate.
Congtrats and well done on hitting 2k subs, soon enough you'll hit 3k. Banging little tent you finaly reviewed/posted a little tent that my 6' self could fit into and not be cramped. If you're not to worred about bugs you could dissconnect the inner tent and just use the shell, then maybe you sould easily fit two persons inside with relative comfort.
Alright tom good vid fella iv often thought that some of the tents you use look to claustrophobic but that one is almost palatial in comparison it should serve you well and congrats on the 2k subs well deserved take it easy fella
It was absolutely fine. Been in some strong winds too. Seems fine. Just my opinion though mate so that counts for fuck all. Best thing is to buy the tent off eBay and try it for yourself, you won't die. If it doesn't work well in the rain you can always resell it. Hope this helps.
I'd cancel any notion that this might sleep two. Even the 2 person struggles to do that. It's a fine solo tent for the money though, very snug and weatherproof. Make sure to loosen off the connecting straps at each end before pitching, to allow the fly to be pulled fully taught.
I had one of these tents a few years ago. I found it really difficult to pitch the fly sheet without it sagging in the middle so touching the inner and causing massive condensation. Sold it on on eBay after a few wild camps. Not sure if this problem was due to my ineptness in pitching it or a design fault.
it pitches inner and outer together, i havent had any problems with that so far. taken it out on a 2 night beach camp that i didnt film, worked fine. had to weight it down with rocks cos the sand stakes couldnt grip into the shingle and sand.
TOM OUTDOORS yeah I'm thinking it was me that was pitching it wrong or they improved it later on in its production. Got a good price for it on eBay though so no harm done to my wallet!👍😁
Are you sure you pitched it correctly mate? I've had no problems whatsoever with mine and I'm 5 ft 10. Make sure that the inner and outer aren't touching. The 2 person tent that you have should have more head height tbh.
Nice One Tom

tested it out on the nudist beach again at st osyth in essex for 2 nights, worked great. didnt film. the porch is amazing. cheers.
TOM OUTDOORS I'm using the OEX phoxx 1 and a tarp at the moment but I do like the idea of a porch it looks like I could cut out some weight and bulk that way, also pitch and packing time.
or just use the inner tent of the foxx and a tarp.
TOM OUTDOORS that's certainly an option, in summer at least :)
You've put some beef on mate in a good way #beastmode ...great tent too. ATB Paul 👍🏻👍🏻
cheers mate. the tent performed well at the beach when i tested it out for 2 nights, didnt film it. but its very spacious!

cheers mate, already tested it out on the beach but didnt film, me and candice had a "break from youtube" lol. it held up well in the wind.

Bought one today on ebay for 32 quid...lol. Looking forward to giving it a try.
nice bargain mate, enjoy.
Congrats on your subs Tom! Look forward to seeing how this tent performs. Steve
cheers mate.
Good review of this tent was looking at the oex one this looks way more roomy 👍
I've got the foxx and I do like it for walking and camping when weight and pack space is limited. For a luxurious camp this is a great tent.
Definitely give this tent a look 👍
Great Video I Brought a tent not long ago to go camping,,
cheers pal, what tent?
Careful with the thin piece of fabric which connects the inner to the fly mate...mine ripped after using it 3 times...once it’s gone the tent is buggered because the inner isn’t free standing. Shame...other than that a lovely tent...by the way...that outer fly rolls back to a toggle which is located on the inner 👍
i'll keep an eye out mate, hadnt noticed that! cheers.found the toggle, still flaps around a bit!

Congrats on the 2k subs Tom. Great review on the Zephyros. I've been looking for a tent for my motorcycle camping. Had sort of decided on the Vango Banshee but think I prefer the Zephyros now, ATB mate.
cheers mate, glad I helped in your decision making!

Oh,you figured it out
Lol Tom, you’re going to need a bigger house to keep all your kit 😁 👍🏻🏴
haha i need to sell some of them! let me know if you know anyone or yourself who wants to buy a tent. cheers.
Nice tent tom could that be used all year round one tent dose every thing or is just summer tent

thanks chap, much appreciated, and yes you could swing a cat in there!
Has a lot going 4it Tom👍
cheers.
Hi thanks . wat is your experiance with this tent in the rain ?

How does this hold up in the rain?
i actually sold this tent to another channel mate, but from what i recall, it did pretty well in the rain.
Loving the socks mate😂😂😂😂😂😂👍
haha a sense of fashion bypassed me long ago lol.
You attach the outer door to the inner inside
found it lol cheers though.
I have a Zephyros 2
I found it had a vast amount of condensation
And the head height was low
I am 5'"6''

It sounds like the previous owner banged himself silly, if we can assume that his mind was elsewhere and he lost a tent peg for every trip.
