I got a set of these with the steel spokes to run on my road bike and with 30mm GP5000 STRs at 45 PSI, it is glorious so far. When they wear out I have a set of 32mm to try and expect they will feel amazing as well. This was one of the reviews I checked out before making my purchase, so thank you! A lot of these bike / wheel 'reviews' are just giving specs and maybe unboxing and setup but having the longer term feedback is what is really useful.
Hi Craig, glad to hear your wheels are working out, and I greatly appreciate your kind words. I try hard to impart the real world riding experience of the bikes, wheelset, and groupsets I am fortunate to review. I've seen the sort of "reviews" you're referring to. Mostly, the "reviewer" sticking their face in camera the entire time, and running through specs sans real-world use anything.
Nice wheels, nice price especially with the 15% off. Also not sure about the carbon spokes though. In theory, carbon does not fatigue unlike metal which does fatigue under cyclical loading.
Hi Jom, excellent review. Looks like they stopped accepting order for 6 spokes wheels. Do you know from when they will accept orders for 6 spokes gravel wheelset?
I did not. However, you may need to add a layer of tubeless tape to some wheels, depending on the tyre. Some tyres are more difficult to pop onto the bead than others, it helps to build up the base tape to close this gap and make for an airtight chamber during initial inflation.
No, that cassette is only compatible with Shimano HG. The clue is the 11T starting cog, and the separate lockring. All XDR cassettes start with a 10T, the lockring is part of the 10T cog.
@@GravelCyclist I'm confused. At 3:31 inthis video you clearly stated they are hooked - They are listed as Clincher/Tubeless on their website. Tubes should be ok at sufficient pressures?

Hello there, I don't know the answer to your question. I think it best if you contact Elite Wheels directly. Good luck!
Love them ! is there a way to remove the decals ?
Negative, decals are beneath a light clear coat.
You can get the decal in black
Did you have to replace the Rimtape for the tubeless setup?
I did not. However, you may need to add a layer of tubeless tape to some wheels, depending on the tyre. Some tyres are more difficult to pop onto the bead than others, it helps to build up the base tape to close this gap and make for an airtight chamber during initial inflation.
Nice, what size are those gravel kings?
700c x 43mn
Will the SRAM 1231 casette fit the xdr hub?

Can you ride these with a normal tube?
Hello, they are hookless, so I expect that may cause problems.
@@GravelCyclist All Drive wheels are hookless? Lol i thought they always hooked !

@@GravelCyclistthese wheels have a hooked rim. They are not hookless just to clear it up for people so you can run them with tubes.
