Hi Stephen, literally just come in from shooting the moon, got some nice pictures using a 300mm lense with a 2 x converter happy with my results, my tripod is a Joby when collapsed its 18 inches when erected with legs in centre rod it must be 6 foot and it has those leg clips like the ones you've just shown in your video, also it has a spirit level on the camera clip, i am pleased with it and its not very heavy. Thanks for all your videos, BIG thumbs up as always!! Coiming up at the end of this week for 2 weeks, it would be nice to see you, look out for my van!! Stay safe my friend!
You can, but the tripod would be unbalanced. The best way is to use an L bracket for your camera, so you can switch between the two orientations easily.
Great to have you back. 🎉
A clear, detailed and interesting explanation of how to assemble and use this tripod. Thanks for sharing 😊
Thanks for watching!

Thanks Peter. I forgot to mention it has a spirit level as well.
Nice review😀
I think the tripod should go to the USA, with you. Then I can say, its seen a Solar Eclipse, even if I haven't. 🤣🤣
Glad to see Stephen plonking a Starman video up 👍
Brilliant review stephen as always more of the same please and more of the starman
Fantastic review Stevie. Would be great to get one for going to America xx
Thanks Moonage xx
Maybe do you for Dallas when you go for the eclipse. You need to fill your bird feeders lol
I'm starving them at the moment lol
You can extend the monopod further by screwing the center part on top of it, remove the hook first.
That’s a very smart tripod indeed 👌
Hi Stephen, a good video, showing the attributes of this tripod. It was nice to see another Starman video. Thank you.xxxx
Glad you enjoyed it Jean
Interesting video Stephen, thankyou😊
Thanks for watching Carol.
is it ok to use this for recording videos like sports?
I'd say you can get away with it, but I'd prefer something a bit heavier.
You cant place the camera vertical with this tripod right?
You can, but the tripod would be unbalanced. The best way is to use an L bracket for your camera, so you can switch between the two orientations easily.
Don you need to remove the ball head to put it in the bag? 🧐
I don't use the bag, but the tripod does fold up a lot easier without the ball head on when flipping the legs over.
@@starman1969 I just bought one, and it came inside the bag with the ball head mounted, and legs flipped, cool up to here, thanks!
Could you put a Star adventurer GTI mount head on it?
To be honest, I’d want a much sturdier tripod for a tracking mount. I’d use my Manfrotto 190 for that.
@@starman1969 Thanks
