TD gave me a strong influence during my school time. I still like that music very much. Your TD cover versions bring that time back to the presence.

Bloody awesome especially at 3:50. TD were a favorite of mine for many years.

I like this. It is very different to the original, but it captures the essence superbly, and with a flair that I think TD would have been happy with.

I have a deep, emotional, lifetime attachment to Tangerine Dream. I'm also a musician born with perfect pitch. Your presentation of Force Majure is outstanding. I could even say better than the original but I feel like i dishonor Edgar's memory in doing so, in contrast however I think he would be very pleased.
At any rate you give a disabled man with advanced M.S. a most excellent experience. Hail from Las Vegas and be well.

+graal7 I did too. In the 90s I had my own home studio: 3 keyboards Kawaii 4, korg ds8, ensoniq eps16, 2 rackmount modules 2 alesis quadraverb effecs boxesk alesis 16 channel keyboard, all midi thru a midi ccontroller box then to an atari st with software that did it all. I even wrote mixed had manufactured my own album (Majestic Voices) but the money i was planning to use to advertise at appropriate venues like rennaisance festivals and such, went to take care of a fiancee who died from cancr. So i donaed all 5,000 cds, and dismantled and gave away the entire studio to a friend. Years later i screwed around with remixes and masshups. I put my album in the wild too. You can find all of them at one site called The 51 if you want. Now im all neuraled up with numbing fingers and burning body from the MS eating away at my nerves heh. Well anyway good luck to you. Once again, exxellent work and also props to the camera man and film editor's

I'm a guitarist first and furemost, but I do dabble on the ivories too... I often jam along to TD - and Force Majeur has always been one of my favourite of their vast repertoire, Underwater Sunlight and Stratosfear being close joint seconds...
      .
I too was born with perfect pitch... Which makes it easier to learn and cover other's artwork, but I prefer my own compositions, also having PP alowes one to transpose to other intstruments more easily. If you can carry a tune - in tune - in one's head, then transposing that to any instrument is possible once one learns the scale limits of that particular instrument, with piano being, by far the easiest.
      .
      Be welll too Allen

This is great! I recall back in 1985 when I first heard this LP I immediately went to the local music shop and asked if a music transcription of this album was available. I was under the misapprehension back then that all good music was available written down.... ;) I was into Herbie Hancock too and was able to get transcriptions of his stuff (1960s stuff) though it was impossible for me to play or appreciate in that time.. It's amazing Tangerine Dream never performed this live.. although I don' t think they toured this particular album...

I only have a KAWAI K1 and a Moog synthesizer from Radio Shack purchased back in the 80's but used to try playing T Dream's music. Some of the best times of my life.

avez vous échangé le dark time contre electribe ?

    • @graal7
