We leave our overnight mooring at Rugeley and continue our journey along the Trent and Mersey canal. We pass through the villages of Armitage and Handsacre before decending the 3 locks down to Fradley junstion. Here we turn onto the Coventry Canal to start our next adventure.
There is plenty to see along the way, the Ideal Standard formely the Armitage Shanks bathroom fitting factory and the site of the now culveted Armitage tunnel.
