I still come back to refresh my memory every now and then to make sure I do it right. I'm not a professional, but thanks to this video I feel more confident doing this type of basic haircut. This is by far the best video cutting hair that doesnt fogus on the gut wrenching fade that we see going half up the clients sides and back. Iam a hairpiece customer. Its always hard to explain what i need for the back for the piece to meet the back below the balding pattern. This is EXACTLY what I like, a nice straight cut behind the ears to a the back of the neck and a bit full with the corners rou ded a bit. Friggen awesome cut

I find the most difficult, or unfamiliar concept is sectioning the head as I have to put an imaginary guide. I use this tutorial very well for my husband, thank you!

I am not professionally trained, but have been cutting my husband's hair for many years with clippers (after we moved out of province and he had a bad haircut at the new barber!) During Covid, I have also done haircuts for elderly friends..the husband has thick, wiry, bushy hair...quite different than my husband's which is very short, however I managed ok with the clippers (although the clippers kept clogging up terribly!) I wish I could find such a well done tutorial for cutting his wife's hair...which is short and thin and sparse. I don't feel quite as confident for her hair. I continue to search youtube to help me give her the best cut. They are very worried about going to stylists during the pandemic so I have become their stylist!

When searching for a barber for my husband it seems the only haircut young barbers can do is a fade, his regular barber disappeared right before the pandemic hit and then the barber shops closed as a precaution, so I'm the only one left to cut hubby's hair. I went to beauty school eons ago, so I know the basics but I needed a few pointers for cutting a man's hair. Thank you for the instruction about using your fingers to measure for length that's the pointer I needed the most.
