    Amazing info thanks
QQ, client has an iFrame which is hosted on third part website. In this case if we have to track metrics using GA should we install the GTM code both in iFrame and third party page or just in is enough to get the metrics?? Any thoughts would be appreciated!!

Thank you for this video and so many others on the channel that help so much.
I have a question, I would love an answer because my hair is at risk after a few days thinking about a solution, I appreciate an answer.
My main problem, on a website selling concert tickets, is that the is different for each concert, ie the selector is variable, I have hundreds of different selectors.
Is there any way to introduce a variable selector or any other solution?
    Thanks in advance, best regards!

Awesome video - this is super helpful, thank you!
I'm getting a "cookie write failed" error on the side in GA debug... maybe hard to say, but any recommendations where I could look next to fix that? Thanks again :)

Great question! It might be a cross-site cookie issue (many browsers have updated since the original workshop was recorded).
Try setting your "cookieFlags" to "samesite=none;secure".
More on why (and where to set this in GTM) here...

Let us know if that helps!

Thank you so much! Just exactly what I am looking for. Just wondering if that works for tracking traffic from google ads as well. Since the script allow to pass the ?ga string to but don't know if can pass ?gclid as well. I set this up for my site and the organic traffic has the correct attribution but all my traffic and conversions from google ads are attributed to the direct source. Hope you can help me to solve this puzzle!

Great question An! Do you have the "Conversion Linker" tag setup in Google Tag Manager? If not, try setting that up first to see if that solves the issue.

Hi, yes the conversion linker is set up! But not sure why the ?gclid couldn’t pass on ! The site was built on single page application framework , can it be the reason?

It's possible... every site is a little bit different when it comes to the tech and how they are built. Whenever we run into an issue like this, we end up bringing a developer in to take a look at the specifics.

Any plans to update this for GA4 properties?

      Eventually...
We're creating GA4 courses for our Measurement Marketing Academy members first, but eventually we'll be rolling out more GA4 workshops for TH-cam. Just wanted to let GA4 "settle" a little bit more so we could see all the features come through.
(Cross domain in GA4 is entirely different... you'll actually set it up in the "data stream" itself in the tag settings.)
