- I did a quick recording of the tutorial to capture the amazing Bruce Campbell delivering one of the most sarcastic game tutorials I've ever seen.
This video has been uploaded so that anyone can have easy access to high quality clips of this game. You're free to use any part of this video however you want so long as it fits within the rights of Activision and Marvel.
Most of my friends have played Spider-Man 2 but either haven't played or don't remember the first game. But something this incredible needs to be preserved and put on display. You can obviously tell where his voice gets cut off for console-specific buttons but otherwise it's great.
I have never played a game, before or after, that had a tutorial with such an attitude and now I'm sharing it with you, with no commentary. - เกม

Classic Bruce Campbell from the Evil Dead trilogy. I always admired his wit and sarcasm in the 1st and second game.

God, I remember playing this game every morning when I was a kid. This guy was hilarious in the tutorial. I loved how much of a smart ass this guy was throughout the entire thing.

I used to love this part of the game when I first started at 3 years old,the black background with the red lines made it feel really matrix like
It made me think of Star Trek's Holodeck.
I got this game the day it came out and played it every day until the movie came out.
Still to this day, one of my favorite games. Even with the sort of outdated gameplay and graphics.
The movie is also still my favorite movie of all time. I watch that shit on the daily yo.

I saw this at the dentist when I was so little and I loved it. This revelation made my life so much better.
My dentist hasd this on playing in the lunch wait room on ps2 and i played the heck out of it course I own it but I still wanted to play it there too even though he was a gerk, duh!!!!!!!!

Listen to how awkward he sounds when he tells the PC controls. You can tell it was a bad editing job.

My 8yo is hooked on the GameCube version of this, but I wouldn't have noticed it's actually Bruce.
I played this on the gcn when I was a preteen. When I played through the tutorial, I've once legitimately thought the narrator, Bruce Campbell is actually the Radioactive Spider "talking" to him.

shit I never k ew this was Bruce Campbell. well I guess I wasn't old enough to know when it came out. diddnt see army of darkness till 2004.
So, the tutorial script for PC and PS2 are the ones with crop outs. The scripts for Gamecube and xbox are freshly spoken in each.

The xbox voice sounds more fluent and there's different lines like unplug the machine thats not in xbox lol

I heard you can play with a controller but I think it has to be a old controller like ps3 or 360 controller

Xbox has different dialogue. Not much of a difference but you don't hear him say too much mustard or the kick and cheer sounds

You had to press zip line button and web button at the same time. I don't know the keys for pc but the buttons for ps2 are R1 + triangle

you're my hero, I remember playing this game with my sister when I was like 5 and constantly playing the tutorial and jumping to my death because we found the commentary hilarious. Although I had no idea that Bruce Campbell did the voice over.

Game sucks except for Bruce Campbell and the mini games (although it wouldn't have killed them to put in some music in them).
