When I first read the books and watched the movies i always thought how amazing it would have been if Snape had been the queer-and-charismatic-villian-who-was-actually-good-after-all. Like imagine if he had actually been in love with James Potter even though James disliked snape and so Snape was heartbroken and jealous when his best friend ends up with the guy he loved. Then his patronus is a doe because he wanted to be just like lily potter since James liked her and so he protected harry since he was the son of his best friend and the love of his life and the only reason he hates harry is because he reminds him of his lost love James and the death of the only friend he ever had. N e ways, this is the head cannon I would like to see but we all know "she who must not be named" wouldn't have ever written that in so...
