Kudos to Chris Doumitt.....he has been a ROCK for Parker Schnabel providing a "fatherly" hand in Parker's development as a Gold miner and as a man especially after Granpa John's death. Chris Doumitt has to be Parker's most important and trusted team member....he cleans and tally's the GOLD....multi millions of dollars worth...the man is a saint and I'm sure Parker look's after him financially otherwise the temptation would be too much, even for a saint.....Well done Chris Doumitt....you're a BLOODY GOOD MAN.

Want tragedy? Gold Rush had a hard-core painkiller addict on the show. He was an awesome worker until his pills ran out. They showed him deep in withdrawal as he awaited more pills from the mainland. Makes no sense, because with all those Hollywood types, there had to be plenty of pills. Anyway, he left the show and then died. THAT is a tragedy.

He's a great guy but he is not a master Carpenter he is just a carpenter journeyman level he had never reached master. To become a master Carpenter you have to be a journeyman in all trades
