Very, very, very, very thank you! I'm from Brazil and i didn't find a video even on youtube explaining about how to make a video with carousel. You saved me! Thank you from the heart!
Oh my gosh thank you so much, I love making seamless carousels. Never thought to use Canva before and can’t wait to start adding videos. Thank you Nicky!
Brilliant!!! I had another TH-cam tutorial on how to make a carousel but it stopped at the creation of the individual slide. So of course when I uploaded it it uploaded as a single unit. Thank you so much for showing me how to create individual squares and how to post them! And adding the video tutorial was excellent also. Thank you so much!
Hi Nicki! I wonder what you clicked on Canva to make that long rectangle thing come up. at 00:51 of your video? Sorry, I'm trying to do a follow-along on your video. 😁
Thanks, Nicky! You're a super teacher! I can imagine this would be a very powerful tool on Instagram. Have you always been tech savvy? I am late to all this, and not naturally inclined technically, but I am keen to learn. Your videos help. Thanks, again.
Thank you so much, Heather. Believe it or not I used to have a very uncreative job so I wasn't tech savvy at all. I'm so glad you're willing to learn - all it takes is a positive mental attitude and a little time to learn step-by-step. Don't try and do everything in one go. Best of luck to you!
Thank you ! This is great! But I cannot tell a lie, I am still confused! I guess I need a video that goes slowly and step by step ! Like a class I guess!
thanks a lot that was super useful. this way is amazing for making 3 posts in a row but how to match the same pattern with 3 more posts in top of this one can you help please
Thank you Nicky. Is there a way of posting it from ones laptop? It seems odd that you can create the post on a laptop only to then have to use a phone to post.
Good question but the answer is no (unless you can figure a workaround?) The important part of creating carousels is that the transition from one section to another is seamless. I don't know a way of doing this on a laptop. Bit of a fiddle but I think you'll find it worthwhile. Carousels have a long life span in IG. I hope this helps?
@@NickyPasquier Thank you Nicky. I'm a complete novice at social media. I know this is a silly question, however when using Canva, the zip file is downloaded to the download folder on my laptop. How on earth does it end up in your phone gallery?
Hi I have done everything upto downloading the file but have no idea how to see it on my android smartphone. (Up until that point I didnt realise I cant download my canva carosel to Instagram from my laptop?) I dont have a gallery icon (do I download one or is it on Apple?) but have an album one. This only shows the last photos i took. I have now downloaded the Canva app in case that would assist but none the wiser what to do next. Please can you help as would love to post my first carousel? Thanks
I'm so sorry but I only have an Android smartphone so I've no idea how to work this for you. Download the files to wherever it is that you upload images to IG from.
Hey Nicky. Thank you for this video! Q.Did you find a problem when you added a carousel - that includes a video (with other photos)...the video would not play? ONLY until you 'tap' the video? Which is really not helpful :( any idea of a fix? Thanks in advance! :)
Hi there, sorry to hear about your difficulties. I've not experienced this problem, no. But I've had a lot of problems lately playing videos on IG. Maybe it's a bug?
@@NickyPasquier Thanks Nicky! I appreciate your words. After further resting I found videos used in a carousel play fine on the feed as you upload it. But, when someone visits your page and watches this video it remains a still until you click the picture (which no one would know to do ha!) So, a small fix was that I made a 1 frame piece of texture overall saying 'Click to Play' :)
Love your videos! When I went to upload them into Instagram, though, it would not let me put videos and photos in one carousel. I use Facebook Business Suite. Any workaround for this?
@@NickyPasquier Okay, so just as an FYI, you can't do this in Facebook Business Suite or on your desktop (you can normally post to instagram from your desktop using the "inspect" option). It HAS to be done on the phone app. It worked when I did it on my phone. Very unfortunate you can't do it in the other platforms because that's how I do most of my posting. Cool effect, though. It makes the flow nicely and makes the eye want to follow through the whole carousel.
Hi Nicky, I've just made my first carousel using Canva and I've saved the image and tried to upload it to the instagram size post to crop each individual frame and it won't allow me to upload the image because the file is to big. Do you have any sugguestions? Any help would be greatly appreciated

I've watched a few different carousel tutorials but most of them were way too complicated. This is the best and easiest one I have seen. Thanks!
Aww that's so kind of you Anna! I'm glad you found it easy to follow 🤩

Ideally, yes. But you could always cut the size down to 800x800 pixels per 'page'. See what works for you.

I have tried reducing the file sized but when uploaded to the 1080x1080 tile and stretched out the image is distorted
