Ingredients:
2 cups of roasted peanuts (250g)
200g of biscuits
2 tbsp of cocoa powder
1 tbsp of butter
350g of dark chocolate 55%
dulce de leche (caramel spread) - optional.
30g of milk chocolate for garnish
enjoy it !

I just made this, but I used almonds and graham crackers instead of peanuts and Maria biscuits because that's just what I had. It was really good! I'm going to make them for holiday gifts!

@@florl.delgado4093 I didn't use a filling. To make it super easy, I just spread it in a pan and put melted chocolate over it. After that, I cut it into squares like fudge or bars.

Suis vraiment contente de voir cette vieille recette tunisienne refaire surface et être revisitée. Nos mères nous les préparer pour accompagner le thé, en roulant les boudins dans du papier aluminium, les films alimentaires n'existaient pas à l'époque, autre chose, on ajoutait une poignée de graines de sésame grillées avec le cacao.

It would help to know why you need a substitute. Animal crackers would be an easy substitute if you can’t find biscuits in the ethnic aisle at your grocery store, but rolled oats might work.
@@username00009 if I remember correctly, it's because I prefer non processed foods and making things from scratch. So rolled oats would be perfect!! Thanks for the reply.

Biscuits are more like a cross between animal crackers and graham crackers. You can find them at Cost Plus World Market, but the Goya brand also makes them and can often be found in the ethnic section at the grocery store.
