Even the real deal Led Zeppelin would sound like hell on a cell phone this close to the stage. i have seen them live a few times over the years and then sound freakin' awesome in person.
Herbert, he’s definitely not a moron, he actually hears exactly what is going on. The input is a tiny little speaker taking in all that sound at once. It’s too powerful and in the wrong position to be acting like a condenser microphone. So happy our fans get this footage, but you never know what it’s going to sound like.
@@herbertkraft7375 if you are an expert as you tend to be , you must know that bein' so close to the stage, locked between the face sound and the stage sound ( you can barely see the "boxes" on the sides -Mackie as i guess, pieces of nothin'), it's barely impossible to get the whole mix with a phone. it's a miracle to hear what we can hear, so that is why the sound engineer does his work very well...

But in this position next to Gretchen you took excellent video sequenzes of the amazing guitar heroine in action. A real beautiful video portrait of Gretchen! But also the ladies with bass, mic and drums are good captured in your video. I'm sorry, living in Germany it's not easy to see Zepparella live. Did they ever stage acts in Germany? But I can enjoy their awesome music on great videos, as your's. 😊😊Thank you!

This was likely recorded on a cell phone and the person was standing right in front of the guitar (Gretchen) so you are hearing the stage volume as she hears it. If the person stood more in the center and picked up the PA the sound would have been much better balanced.
