- Twisted Colossus is a steel roller coaster at Six Flags Magic Mountain amusement park in Santa Clarita, California. Originally designed and built by International Amusement Devices, the roller coaster opened as Colossus, a dual-tracked roller coaster, on June 29, 1978. It was the tallest and fastest wooden roller coaster in the world and the first with two drops greater than 100 feet (30 m). Colossus became well known after appearances in film and television, including the box-office hit National Lampoon's Vacation and the made-for-TV movie Kiss Meets the Phantom of the Park.
After more than 36 years in operation, Six Flags announced that Colossus would be closed permanently on August 16, 2014. Within two weeks of its closure, Six Flags announced that the roller coaster would reemerge in 2015 as a steel-tracked roller coaster named Twisted Colossus. It was renovated by Rocky Mountain Construction to feature barrel roll inversions, and a near-vertical drop. Twisted Colossus opened on May 23, 2015.

Yup twice I didn't like it that much but now since I'm older my opinion should change I've been on everything already.
This ride is phenomenal when you don't even duel, but when you do get a duel, it steps it up an extra notch. My favorite coaster at SFMM hands down, regardless.

I need to take a vacation to California. Six flags magic mountain, six flags discovery kingdom, Knotts berry farm, California’s great America and seaworld San Diego is on my bucket list
There are definitely some great parks in California. I need to get back to Northern California sometime to hit those parks again.
I need to revisit Seaworld San Diego again to see what’s changed!
Also Disneyland and Lego land and universal.

I’m going to magic mountain soon! I have never actually ridden a huge roller coaster except for incredicoaster at Disneyland. But i loved that one a lot. That’s the biggest one i have ridden so far. My mom is very in to these rides here at magic mountain! I have been to discovery kingdom a couple times. But all the rides were closed when i was there. So i hardly got to ride anything! The only things i was able to do is kids rides. But we’re season pass holders. So we can visit again when the rides are open. But we’re coming to magic mountain very very soon! This will be my first time on an RMC coaster! Looks fun!

I've rode everything besides X2, and this one was the most intense IMO!
I think I rode this roller coaster when I went in 2009, I miss it so much this theme park I want to go back again so badly.

Definitely an exciting ride and gives you loads of air time
We rode this last month.. Along with just about every single ride in the park. This was one that we only rode once, as it is was painful on my back, my ass, and my balls.. We got lots of rides in on Goliath, Wonder Woman and X2. My 7 year old daughter loves X2 :) Fright Fest was fun too.. Planning another trip for Holiday in the Park next month

See when it duels it's a good ride it just needs to duels more the ride is already perfect you just need to work on the dueling aspect

Had the same opinion when I went on this the first time when I was 8. But ngl u a hater.
A lot of Jerking.. and barrels seems like it would make it up that hills.. just cranking.. a lot of jerking and twists and bouncing in your seat.. I am sure your body sore once you get off that!
