It's a great printer, a complete reset of color cartridges is currently about $100 if non branded. Most cartridges work great and if coupled with 24lb paper, fantastic results. The only issue with the printer is if you print over 200 pages, like a book or something, it will heat up and need to cool down periodically but as long as it's for personal use this isn't at all an issue. The built in scanner works really great also.
Can you use aftermarket toner with black and white laser printers and if it spells their won't be a problem because they don't have TB(transfer belts) like color Lazer printer that can break. How do you clean it up though?😂

We still use and love it. I'm thinking of buying another one for my work office as my Christmas present to myself. I love that it duplexes, prints wirelessly from my phone and laptop, and the print quality is great (and in color). Worth every penny.
I just bought a 654 and I find it is extremally loud compared to my previous laser printers, I want to put it in a closet and sound dappen that, it is that bad. what is your opinion on noise?

I have Canon MF 4150 I have it for 15 years. It's heating up if I print too many pages at one time
People are also very interested in dimensions since many of us are working from home and space is at a premium.

Great Printer for $299. If you buy the Cannon print cartridges' expect to pay over $500 !

It's pretty loud, but on par with what my previous printers were like. Standby mode is completely silent.
