The old man on the guitar behind him with the white hair and goatee on the right replied to me in the comment section of a video a few years ago. It was in regards to the passing of the great Daryl Singletary, on a video of Daryl covering "Footlights" by Merle Haggard. He replied to my comment talking about how nice of a guy he was. Then we exchanged some words about playing the guitar, and he offered some encouragement. It wasn't until much later that I heard how accomplished and influential that guy was. I wish I had screenshotted that conversation, because his comments to me are now gone.. He has since passed away as well.
Here is my thought. First voice was a business flight. He s nda her a post card from the airport saying wish you were here. Second verse, his plane has crashed, no survivors. She gets the postcard in the mail after he died. Then its like he wishes she is in Heaven with him. Thats what I take from it.
