Thank you a hundred times over for posting this! I lost it when Wang did his impression of Bob Picardo. I just love these panels, they're so much more interesting and fun to listen to than the professional interviews on the DVDs.
This is nearly a decade old. So, good to see Denise Crosby, Tim Russ, Garrett Wang. Celeste Yarnall is the security/analyst from the "Apple" episode. Very nice panel. I hope they're all doing well today.

Marina declined to sign the release and so we totally respect her wishes. The releases weren't forwarded to all panel participants in advance as was intended, and our release form was overly verbose. We now have a much simpler release form and will endeavor to get them distributed in advance.

Marina Sirtis declined to be part of this section but she interjects off camera a few times. Perhaps, she wasn't paid enough credits to be filmed. Garret Wang has great personality and he is also funny too.
Celeste, I love your work on The Apple, but when you said you were the girl that Elvis sang "A little less conversation" That is SOO COOL!! I remember watching that scene over and over again in the 90's before it became a new hit and all I could think was how very hot you were,and still are!! Hope to see you in more shows soon!
I'm pleased that Garrett Wang was cast as Harry Kim, he was perfect for the role , and one of the Best Trek Characters 🙎♂️👍

celeste its always awesome to see you on panels talking about the casting processes youve been through and any stories you have about hollywood. I'm just a fan who sees the end result of so much hard work so hearing you discuss the behind the scenes stuff always amazes me.
excellent panel, it remind me the good old days. bravo to all, panelists, hosts, everyone who where there and made this wonderful atmosphere.
My favorite panels are a mix of series. Not often I get to see one of the "original" starlets join the fun. Definitely re-watching "The Apple"... FACT: Miss Yarnall ages only a decade for every half a century.
With all due respects, would have to be a super Trekkie to have known Celeste Yarnall.

Marina sat at the table, but wasn't part of the panel? Or is it this video she wanted cut out of?
I'm quite glad that she sat the panel out, either because she wasn't interested, wasn't paid, or was simply asked to sit the panel out.
If you watch some other TNG panels, Marina Sirtis is kind of hated by fans because she comes off as SUCH a bitch, stepping over what other people say, belittling fans, and being especially mean to Wil Weaton. She's a talented actress and a beautiful lady, but her personality leaves a lot to be desired.
Her bitchy demeanor makes you loose all sympathy for her, even when she spoke of Gene Roddenberry's unwanted sexual advancements. Condensing him down to a "dirty old man". That might be true, but that's one aspect of a multifaceted man. To say otherwise is just her being a bitch.
While immensely enjoy Marina's outgoing personality, she does tend to dominate the discussion. Certainly seems like her rants were edited out of this.
Marina is very outspoken and direct, the opposite of Counselor Troi. Some people don't like her because she says what she wants, but I like her for exactly that reason.
Wonder why Garret hates ensign Kim. Was one of my fav characters.

And why was Sirtis completly cut out of this video?
Marina declined to be part of this section? That sounds about right for her. I think she has a real attitude problem, particularly with Star Trek fans, i.e. the very people who kept her in a job in the eighties! She seems to have forgot that. Good on the others for taking part. I did notice that Marina couldn't help interjecting whenever she wanted - does she want to be part of it or not!?
