That is some nice Kirby maneuvering in such a tight place. I had just finished cleaning the window drapes and carpet today. In the south eastern USA we are in the middle of the Pollen season, a yellow haze

I just bought a 2nd hand Avalir 2. It’s amazing how much better my carpets look and feel!

Congratulations on you Avalir pick up , well worth it .
It is surprising on old carpets how much dirt has been pushed in by previous plastic vacuums.
Only every using Kirby in my home from new my carpets still look and feel as new as the day the were laid.

Nice! I keep watching your videos. I purchased 2 used Kirby’s and took them apart to clean ( they were worse than your worst one). Getting them back together is a beast! I’m not handy at all barely use tools (it’s a girl thing) but I keep watching! Will post when I figure it out. I have to do it I know my carpet is as gross or worse than your camper! Thanks for the content.

Looking forward to hearing how you go.
Once you’ve done it a few times becomes 2nd nature like mecanno or Lego .
Glad I’m helping Kirby owners to save money and keep Kirby out cleaning plastic vacuums.
Thanks again for awesome comment and support of my channel 👍👍

Cheers really appreciate the continued support , it took a while to get their , but feels great after everything that has hit me this yr with health issue and finding a new home .
Got plenty of content to come over the coming months and negotiating with potential sponsors to be able to go full time on TH-cam eventually.
Never know one day Kirby may sponsor me for all the honest reviews and promotion of what I believe is still the best home cleaning system on the market . 👍👍

@@KirbyEnthusiast I'm really surprised that Kirby doesn't sponsor you. You definitely promote their brand, and help we owners.

Is Kirby really the best? Better than dyson or the like? Its very heavy and hard to push around for most ppl (even with the tech drive). I like that you can get all the parts and that kirbys last so long. They damage stuff around the house though ha ha ha. Dysons and the like dont even have spares available for the old models now. Full of plastic too. At least kirbys have a significant amount of metal.

The base on Kirby is polycarbonate from late 2011 onwards .
I’ve never had issue pushing Kirby with tech drive on or off.
As for damage never damage anything with my Kirby. It’s mainly from users ramming it into stuff which you don’t have to as only takes 2lbs of pressure to push or pull.
I’ve had my G4 since 1994 and it still outlasts the 11 plastic vacuums my dad has bought over those yrs, from Hoover , vax, Dyson, shark to name a few.
Not to mention the amount of carpets he has replaced due to pile going flat due to amount of soil pushed in by inferior vacuums.
I would recommend a Kirby to anyone whether new or 2nd hand . Purely for the quality , reliability & cleaning performance over the yrs .

I can 2nd that statement. Used my brothers kirby for 2 weeks 2 years ago..... just got my own avalir 2 and did a deep clean... 1 house filled 2 bags, no pets ...... I think it is because Ive always bought and used cheap things like bissel. also noticing the flat spots in my carpet come back to life. I cant wait for first shampoo.@@KirbyEnthusiast

Just replaced the fan on my avalir. Used rtv silicone and it says it will be dry to the touch in one hour and fully dry in 24 hours. How long do I have to wait to use it?

I normally wait 24 hrs to be safe

You should be able to buy one from Kirby , that’s where I got mine from yrs ago .
Not sure if they still trade under the name , but it was KBA West Midlands based in Wolverhampton. Hope this helps . 👍🔔
