Keep practicing, you will get the hang of welding soon enough. If you are new to welding then make sure there isnt too much wind, it will blow the gas sheild away before the weld pool solidifies and ruin the weld. Think of it like a needle and thread, stitch the two bits of metal together as if you are sewing, its a very similar action, as a general rule hold the welding torch at around 60 degrees . Listen to the sound of the welder and the torch, when your are making a good weld you will hear it.
@@ParsMaker you need to match the wire to the type of metal being welded. If you are going to try aluminium mig welding, gassless, then changing out the liner tube in the torch lead is usually a good idea for a Teflon one, to reduce contamination only use for aluminium. Probably best to buy another torch and lead just for aluminium welding, the residue build up inside the liner from other metals will cause a bad weld, dull, with a pourus surface.
@@ParsMaker no problem, I'm happy to help when I can. I don't get why some people feel the need to keep knowledge secret and make fun of people who are wanting to learn and making mistakes. I'm a trained welder, I don't know everything but I'll let you know what I learned to help you out, the only type of welding I wasn't trained to do was underwater welding, which required a diving course first, it's basically arc but underwater. So I did arc, mig, tig gas, bronzing and brazing. Oh, I didn't learn laser welding as I don't think it was a thing when I was at college
If using the roll of wire that was with the welder, it was flux core.. the welder should be put on the flux core setting.. not mig. No wire speed control, ouch.
More videos need. It would be cool to find out more
I will try to use it more and film, I didn’t use tig yet, I really like to try it,
Best

I notice you put the ground to the positive and arc grip to the negative is that the right configuration?
I just followed what it was on user manual, yes should be right 😊
can you demostrate tig welding too?
Thank you for making this.
I was looking into the model below this but I think the $50 is worth it.
Thanks again my friend
Thanks for watching
Always like seeing your videos. I thought mig used a gas bottle rather than relying on the gas from the rods?
Just realised you were using wire with flux on it. I didn't realise such a thing existed.
Yes , it comes with flux core wire ,which is good ,and there is no need for Gas
Did you change the flux core wire to a stainless steel one for the stainless steel test weld?
Obviously not!!
No, I didn't

Хорошо бы увидеть видео как он варит с газом там ведь есть такая возможность.

very best

"Promosm" 😩
You can’t weld at all never mind TIG , ridiculous

@@ParsMaker your review for novices is spot on well done
