End of service just happened today, and I managed to beat this boss and see the ending right before the end. This game is beautiful and I really hope Cygames does something with this IP instead of just ending it here forever.
Nice. I misunderstood the shutdown date as end of 11/30, not the beginning of 11/30, so I missed out on this amazing fight. Oh well, too many things kept me busy in IRL for me to focus on this, but going to miss this game so much. Easily one of my favorite mobile games. Now I just have no mobile games to play, which is kind of nice honestly, lol.
@@dustpal yep it certainly is i stopped checking new gatcha games or start new ones as some form of respect to Dragalia and of course sadness that it is gone still it was one hell of an experience and gladly had a proper end not many get that benefit
One of my fondest gaming memories is related to this fight. I never got into the meta of this game, I got into it a little too late and was too bad and didn't have strong enough characters to carry me through the harder fights, and I absolutely SUCK at teambuilding and optimization in games like these. I think I had only gotten past a few of the regular Agito fights on their hardest difficulties, and only able to best the easiest Sinister Dominion fights. But I made it a point to both topple Morsayati's fights, and 300% the main campaign on all three difficulties. I was ***struggling*** to clear Xenos on very hard. It was the last thing I wanted to do before End of Service, and I had but mere hours left before the servers shut down for good. Not helping was that my phone was pretty old and crashed a lot during long complicated fights in this game a lot, this fight was not pretty. I estimate at least 15 crashes AT LEAST, even with all the settings turned to the lowest they possibly cluld be. I was desperate. I had probably 2 hours left, so I ended up going to the Dragalia Lost discord to ask for help. They were super patient with me, and so kind and suppirtive. They wanted to see me get through this as much as I wanted to. ...And I did it. I could not have done it without this game's phenomenal community and I'm so grateful to this day for what they did for me.
games rarely make me cry. that honor has went to a very few number of very special games to me dragalia has been one of them on multiple occasions. advent of the origin and this chapter have made me tear up several times. i love this game so much.
@@TamerEnie Only counting the story mode bosses, it's probably the hardest, but it's also because he just has 3 huge chunks of HP (And phase 3 being a "survive" section for the most part)
@@TamerEnie It was hard even for the best players, not because of difficult patterns or high damage, but because it was a really long fight made to exhaust the player and in my opinion that really gave the feeling that we were fighting a powerful god
I wonder if we will get a legends or daily/weekly version of this before the game shuts down. Either way this fight was hype and a great final battle for this game!
@@raphezar2049 this game is not getting any new content anymore. its now essentially on life support holding off of event reruns and the current endgame until nintendo and cygames officially pull the plug.
Yeah this aged well. It's only been 2 months and I already miss this lol. I fought Xenos on very hard one last time for the final fight I did. I had B. Euden, G. Alex, G. Sarisse, and G. Zena for my team. Even if I can't remember everything I did, that, and the Cafe Millennia guild I was in will stay with me for years. Loved this game, hope the franchise survives somehow, or we see a successor of some kind.

Hands down the most incredible fight I've ever had in a mobile game.

This one is definitely Beginning of The End as it’s the only one on the credits that doesn’t list Lucrezia/Kurokumo as an artist
THIS IS A DYING MOBILE GAME THEY DID NOT HAVE TO MAKE THE FINAL BOSS GO THAT HARD
To match the difficulty of that boss I guess. (I am guess it was easy for everyone else but not for me)

Yeah, I didn't bring a healer since I wanted to use my favorites, and GEuden was only kept alive by his regen passive. 100% the hardest story fight.

A dying game yes. But one that chose to go out with a blaze. A glorious death on the battle field.
A shame they didn't create a final background for Xenos as the antagonist.
