The hand movement before the note is believed to have been a signal for when to start the recording. B: Dinah’s is a show performer and makes use of lip sync to make sure his performances remain flawless. It is a common thing to do in modern singing and there is no shame in doing it. C: He probably could hit the note but the D8 in the video is not strained and was too clean to be a normal note. That performance he obviously realized he could not hit the note at that moment and that’s when he did the hand motion to signal them to start the recording.

Dani Fernandez Inhaled is not correct. It is oppposite to how you should sing. Everything you do with inhale is dangerous for your vocal chords.
