We need more cars like the Toyota GR86! Competitive but not necessary meta, regardless of what build you choose (purist or widebody). It is a very tricky and painful car to drive but it will be extremely rewarding as it becomes really fast if you mastered it!
I personally love it in b class, it’s amazing through corners after fiddling with the tuning. Goes through in a sort of half drift and grip with no let up as you exit.
Interesting, the trick to use this car seems to be using higher gears and keeping at around 5k rpm in middle corners. I used 3 or 4 around corners and it is quite susceptible to wheelspin.
I sometimes think playing with a keyboard gives you more precise control over the car. Cause with controllers you need to keep pushing the joystick n make micro adjustments which reduces the speed and ability to have clean proper lines, than the adjustment you make on keyboard which are more linear. Regardless getting used to playing it on their is a skill.
Wow!! what a coincidence, I was playing in the same lobby as you, and wondering what a fuck is this setup, the toyota was flying, so i go to TH-cam to search this, and found the exact car and driver, hahaha, nice gameplay by the way
I really wish they'd fix that derpy thing where your car slows down after you cross the finish line, causing other cars to suddenly warp into frame at lightspeed as they finish the race too. It's really dumb looking. Either figure out a way to make it so the player doesn't see that on their end, or just get rid of it.
From all races, the Gatecrash race have the clean race where Ford Mustang play competitive and not tried to ram him, he have less handling but better speed on late section where it has more straights which is his advantage.
Lmao, props to Giden in the Nissan Titan :D And SakuraShark in the last race, should've punted him so I can mock him lol I'm really glad they added it with a Bodykit unlike the Nissan Z, I do quite like this RB one as well. My only major gripe is that I wish the OEM Ducktail was also Adjustable, the RB Wing looks a bit odd imo but it drops a good chunk of PI so I'm running it anyway. 6th being so tall isn't ideal either but the car holds the revs quite well provided you don't shortshift so that's alright too. Also very interesting that the Devs decided to give it the Tire Profile upgrades, currently its the only Car to have it since all the others are Offroaders/4x4's and SUVs. Hopefully this trend continues with future additions too since it's nice to have the extra adjustability in terms of both builds and aesthetics.
Yeah he seemed pretty discourteous. He kept losing speed and did a poor job sharing the road on the straights. Constantly refused to take even a slightly deep line into the corners, even with a car already contesting the inside.
Why the hell does it reminds me the Murcielago LP640 Circuit Spec in the The Crew 1? Driving with it without any assists it is pain (i regret it immediately after i bought it)
For Road: Balanced - Nissan GT-R R33 (R34 + R32 too), GMC Syclone, Pretty much every Subaru but especially the 22B and '04, Boneshaker, Ferrari 512TR Grip - NSX-R '92 with RB Kit, NSX-R GT, KTM X-Bow, Lotus Elise Series 1, Sierra RX3+700R on super tight tracks. Power - Dodge Dart, Boneshaker, Toyota Sports 800, Mercedes 300SLR, Ford Coupe '32 Off-road: It's mostly power/acceleration dominated Strongest: Scout 800A, Willy's Jeep, Jeep CJ5 Sierra 700R is also strong on small tracks Maserati 8ctf and Bugatti Type 35 are also pretty good all-rounders but not as popular anymore
Only if the driving physics are "close enough". The car jump animations and landing looked a little janky in Motorfest. Competition is good for us the consumers.
You are comparing it to a game already in decay. The biggest enemy for the FH series is actually the developers lazy ideas, not another arcade driving game.

u only do track builds or do u do others like drag-drift-offroad? (feel like toyota be good for drift idk y)
Will you make a stock tune? I really love the way it looks without that bodykit
exactly. we have had so many new s1 cars that are really competitive, we need more a and b
I agree, it's twitchy but fast. Fun to drive.

The race with the Mustang on Festival Gatecrash is impressive, could be a chase scene from a movie.
He drove cleanly and catches up to people in two corners while other cars are doing the forza wiggle and ramming
That overtake at 4:49 is one of the best overtakes I've seen in FH5

Have you tried the Hennessey Venom GT in S1, more specifically in street races? It is illegal fun.
