@@kyyahabdulthank you! I love your content. I’d like to know how to transition to the regulatory space from other biotech roles. Should I start off at an entry level position in regulatory affairs or should I begin at a mid-level position? I’ve been in the pharmaceutical world for 5 years now and have my MPH. Also id like to know more about your work life balance in your current role. Thanks!
This is a bit unrelated to the video topic but I was wondering if you could make a video on what kind of public health jobs you would recommend to someone in undergrad? or what types of jobs set you up nicely for a future in public health? I just found you today and already give me so much clarity on public health and ideas of what I want to do.
Hi Kyahh I’ve been following you for years now & I really appreciate your content. Do you provide career/development services? Looking to pivot functional areas in pharma. Thank you!
hi!! thank you for supporting my content. I appreciate it :). At this time I no longer provide services but Im hoping to get some help with other things and possible open up these services back up
Hello Kyyah, I usually don't reach out to people on TH-cam, but if you read my comments, I have been in the quality side of the food business for the past 3 years and have seen the exciting world of the regulatory compliance and tried my level best to enter that line but not working. Honestly I want to follow your work trajectory, if there are any openings in your company, where I can be coached by you, that will be greatly appreciated. Sorry to bother you in TH-cam comments.
Hi! first let me say the job market isn't the best. A lot of companies are choosing to operate lean. That being said, have you tried to shadow or offer help to the current regulatory department you work with? This way you get some regulatory exposure and you can put it on your resume to leverage for a role. Also I would recommend optimizing your resume to include key regulatory terminology because there is a lot of intersectionality with QA and RA
Yes I did step into our regulatory label compliance for a brief period that is when I understood the functionality of the regulatory business. But it's really difficult to get into the field considering the amount of competition in the market for those roles.
Appreciate your time to respond to my comments. I do have a year of label compliance experience, trying to leverage that to fetch better roles. My main intent is to work for an amazing leader who will couch me through out my work journey.
Theres not much I can personally do, but I will say getting an entry level reg job has been exceedingly challenging over the years. I would look into other departments and see where you can cross over. Look at quality assurance or maybe project management or even entry level clinical operation roles
Writing things down before a conversation is actually good. I’ll try that.
It’s genuinely so helpful! My notes app stays full
I hesitated clicking on the video as I was expecting a very known take on the topic but it was very interesting and different indeed ✌🏻

Also, will be buying your book when I get paid !!
I’ve made some views on Jobs you can work with a bachelors in public health! Do you mean while you’re in college still?
As a bar student I needed to hear this! “You don’t have to climb Mount Everest in a day”!
Good luck on the bar!! And yes it takes time to adjust and that’s okay, small steps are better than no steps at all
No 4.
