Congratulations, so many great changes just before the year end. Yes for me Caribbean’s also don’t celebrate and are very quiet with life changes so you deserve to recognize this accomplishment. And thank you for being transparent like sharing your score. It helps so so much when someone tells the behind the scenes and really highlight that your application is the big picture and how the details add up. If you’re comfortable i’d love to hear more about the numbers regarding your home buying journey- monthly payment, your saving process, how lender accounted for income since i’ve heard some entrepreneurs have difficulty since it’s not all W2, how this process was different from first time you bought your home, did you purchase independently or with your partner, any tips etc. anything that you would share! ❤
Thank you so much for the congratulations! I feel comfortable sharing some details on the home buying process. For my first house it was so easy because I just used my W2 income. I had been living well below my means for a while (paying $1,400 in rent when I could afford much more) I didn’t have a car payment or anything so I was able to save 20% of purchase price. I still had emergency savings left over after the fact. For this other property it was far more challenging especially because California makes you cross quality sometimes (you have to qualify with more than 1 lender). Being an entrepreneur definitely hurt me in the process because I was not w2’ing myself long enough. I can make a video on what is required to purchase a home and how to work toward saving and also what to do if you are an entrepreneur looking to purchase vs a w2. This was an independent purchase
You’re so inspiring. Keep it up! Just subscribed 🌟 Could you please make a video where you talk about managing your time while studying and working? How do you balance both and what is your structure like in the week?
Absolutely!! thank you for subscribing :) I just posted a video on building attention spans and it kind of talked about time management but ill also make another video dedicated to that topic
Just found your channel and love the vibes! I'm also a bit of a multitasking juggler, and i just had twins 😅 i have two masters and would love to pursue doctoral studies for the academic expansion, but I'm also curious about law school and having a more technical skill to actually help others. Would definitely be interested in learning more about your journey!
Congrats Kyyah! For your specific field are you thinking of taking the bar after you get your law degree? Also can you share your experience with scholarships when it comes to hybrid vs online law schools once you hear back from them. I’m currently getting my MBA then studying for the LSAT. My goal is to work within the Data Privacy/ Healthcare space as a Legal consultant.
100% taking the bar! Hoping to take the California one and then the uniform bar! I’ll make a video on Law School Scholarships for online vs in person! Congrats on pursuing your MBA and I can’t wait for you to start your Law journey
I want to remain in regulatory compliance but broaden my scope to international implantation (e.g., implementing regulatory frameworks in R&D in countries that do not presently have that). I would also like to practice and in likely end up being counsel for a pharma or biotech company :)
I'm currently a QC microbiologist looking to transition into regulatory work; do you have any tips on how to navigate this process? Congrats on your new home btw.
The best bet is asking the regulatory department at your current place of employment for an opportunity to shadow them. We sometimes call it a “tour of duty” in another department. You can also start applying for regulatory CMC roles and highlighting how your current skillset in beneficial for a role in that function
Hi Kyysh, been following you for a while and I enjoy your content. I’m going into clinical research and would love to see if i can get mentorship with you because I really want to grow this part of me. Pls let me know if I can email you or if there a service I can book with you. Thank you
I am so sorry 🥹 at this time I don’t have the capacity to mentor. I’m struggling just to be consistent with content and work. Maybe in the future but right now I’m not able

I always get down to two answer choices when studying for the LSAT and pick the wrong one 😢
The same thing happens to me!! Ironically my tutor told me to think less and go with your first initial choice (no second guessing) and it helped me
Why did you say you dont know if you’ll stay there that long?
My fiancée and I want a place together
