Loved the love with which you described your Elder one as Food inspector. Haven't commented on the previous videos due to lack of time, but have watched everyone of them- Hats off to the fathers day video. I am glad to see you evolve with each video and we get to learn about you and know you even more, as a loving human being Anu. I Miss those summer vacation times spent with in the village with grandparents and cousins- we used to so look forward to the last day at school before the summer vacation and making plans for what we are gonna do on the day before last exam not reading for the exam feeling overwhelmed with ideas - thoroughly enjoyed the long bus/train journeys away from city life into the village following a ritual of eating our favourite breakfast, lunch ,snacks at various stops-Ahh i can keep on going-Miss those days!

Both of us travel a lot and we try to eat home cooked healthy food whenever we're not travelling. Your tips on including chia seeds , oats and fruits in various recipes are of great help. I really like how simple you are.. and how authentic your videos are.. in this generation of pretences and masks. we really need to go back to our roots and basics.. you are doing it quite well.. more power to you and your channel.. please be so modest always..
wot u said is really true.... maa is a different concept, she cares for us in a way we can't to ourselves but again when we become mother we pour everything that we can for our children.... maa's touch is always special for every child.... u picked the point so nicely that it forced me to write few lines
Hi, You are absolutely right in saying that "Shadi k baad aaloo ka parantha garam garam nahi milta" I used to love eating Aaloo ka parantha with ginger tea in breakfast but now gone are the days since am married and settled in Canada. I like watching your videos. Somehow we have same lifestyle so I can easily relate to you. Keep shooting and uploading. Take care.
The driving force for us to cook after marriage is the love and appreciation we get from our loved ones..... The way we relish our maa ki haath ka parathas our kids also do the same.... Infact my children don't like food cooked by anyone else....they just love my khana
You are 100% right.. after marriage lots of things change from food to the way you live. I absolutely miss my mom's food as she is in India and I live in abroad. Each time I cook I wish I could get that taste but never succeeded as you said. Moms are the best, keep rocking :)

They all look so good!

Congratulations Anu! 40K subscribers and look at all those comments!! Your lovely demeanour and smile is attracting so many subscribers. Isn't is interesting how times have changed? The days we spent on school holidays always involved playing games outside or going to a friend's house, or quietly reading. Now so many kids are indoors, caught up with technology. One wonders where their holiday memories will come from - unless we push them outside of this technology trap. I love the way your little one wanted to help you in the kitchen. I wonder whether he'll eat the food if he helps you to cook it? That may be an interesting compromise :) There's always a fussy eater in every house, isn't there? But he is such a good boy - and ate his meal anyway. Maybe he just wants to test the boundaries and see how much he can get away with :) At least he is teaching himself good debating skills which will be of great use to him once in school! :) Of course, mother's food always tastes better. There is a special ingredient called "love" that they add. And you are doing the same with your little boys too. They will also think your food is incomparable once they get older - because you cook from your heart and want to give them the best. Good to see you getting those early morning walks in. The parks near your home look so pretty. Helen :)
Thankyou Helen... yes the memories are infinite.... in summer holidays we used to sleep outside ... fresh air and the sky full of stars ... and me and my sisters talking endlessly... i also feel sometimes my kids will not have these kind of memories... but they will have their own....I loved that you thought about this angle... that he is teaching himself good debating skills.... sometimes we definitely need to see things from a different perspective.... thankyou so very much... it feels like a real strong connection with you ...
Hello Anu, Your memories of summer holidays sound perfect! How wonderful! You are right. Our kids will form their own memories. As parents we just need to lead them in the right direction. You are fortunate to have grown up with abundant connection to family, friends and nature. So much is taken for granted in Western society, but you are lucky to pass on the beauty of your culture to your boys. This will give them many opportunities to form wonderful childhood memories. I have 2 girls very different to each other. My youngest has always been the testing one - so I have tried to accept her personality in a slightly more positive way. It's not always easy - but I remind myself that she will more than likely be the one that faces the challenges in the world with more will power and success. It is funny isn't it - how the internet brings so many different people together without even seeing each other? I enjoy your channel for its simplicity, your kind nature and intelligence. There's another level to it as well which I haven't figure out yet :) I also enjoy the peeks into your culture's everyday life and food. :) I have a tendency to ramble on quite a bit - so I will leave it here, so you can return to the busyness of your day. Have a lovely day Anu! Helen :)
Hi Anu! Your video brought back such fond memories of summertime in childhood, those days never come back, nothing can replace them. I remember eating street side panipuri with my friends and still remember the taste and flavor of it! So true what you said about mom's aloo paratha, really really missing my mom' s paratha today. Even a simple dal made by mom is the best in the world:)) but I wish to tell you that your kids will look back and reminisce in the same way about you and your food. You are a superwoman!!! Thank you for this video!
haan wedding k baad hum family ko serve karnay mei busy hojatay hain. jab humari baari aati hain tho paratay thanday hojatay hain aur mood bhi nai hota...ur such an inspiration for upcoming home makers love u..
Hello Anu Ji , I am Archana, i always watch your videos and have subscribed to your channel. You have become like part of family. Keep posting videos. You inspire me so much.
I really love the way you organise each and every minute thing , how healthy u maintain the recepies, manage time almost everything , thank u so much for ur healthy ideas
Paratha is looking so yumm...Dont worry I am sure you have made your Mom very proud in every way. And that special Mom flavour will come with age I guess...Take care and happy Holidays

Hi Anu...I m new to your channel..and just want to say I don't know why I m watching your routine videos but I m watching..and can really connect with you...simple yet effective Content..
Hi Anu.Nice video.Loved watching. As soon as the vacation use to start my cousins, myself and my sister use to gather at mamu's house where mami and nani both of them pampered us so much....They use to ask us our favourite meals and then take us shopping and yes eating those gola ganda was part of my memories of summer vacation.
Well thats nice to hear.Yes Anu i am in toronto. The temp is nice.It was raining last night and usually it is hot and humid in june but this year it is pretty good till now.
Dear Anu Thanks for your lovely videos. You are an inspiration to me. I had to leave my PhD due to my pregnancy and now taking care of my 8 months old daughter. Things stress me at times as husband works full time and my life changed drastically. I never sat at home like this. But when I watch you..I learn a lot You do what you gotta do!
Thanks Rupali... enjoy these moments with your little one.. they never come back.. I started working while i was in my final years of masters... and continued till almost last year... took a break and enjoying this time as well.... keep writing please
RealLife RealHome Thanks Anu I am living in Canada and no family member is around. ..and she is so little that I don't want to leave her at daycare..I guess will wait some more time and then think what I can do. I don't get to talk to any mature person in whole day and I don't want to make parents sad by telling them I m sad..So I guess I will be patient and enjoy tine with her.
agreed completely, garam garam aloo ka paranthe by mom is the best.. I have seen all your videos and following you sincerely...... keep up your good work
I agree with you. When I cook myself, I don't enjoy as much as my mom's food. I think it's because We get tired of looking and cooking food so much that by the time we eat, it's not same... lol
Hi Annu.. very sweet video. I agree that moms are the best cooks. My mom used to make the most delicious gajar halwa and gujias and we were so fond of these. Me n my sister could never bring the same taste in these desserts. My mom passed away few years back and since then we are no more fond of these desserts. Sometimes jaane wala apne Saath apna sara hunar bhi le jaata hai. 😔 And yeah I too can't live without my morning masala tea with sugar. I tried having it without sugar but it didn't taste good😬
Thanks a lot Ashu... Holi and gujias.... the whole family used to sit together and make so many gujias... we used to distribute even to neighbors.... after I got married... I tried 2- 3 times... but vo bat hi nahi aai... aur humari shadi ho gai to ab mummy bhi nahi banati.. kahti ab kkiske liye banao... whenever I visit Mumbai... I would love to meet you someday... have a great rest of the day... lots of love
Haha oh my gosh, the food inspector! I'm American and my kids did this too😀I guess it's universal. Well now you are the mom so your boys will grow up and think 'it's not as good as my moms' so you will be the favorite cook as time goes by- thanks for sharing ! Hugs from Pennsylvania
Mujhe b same feel hota he.. Pehle me 3 se 4 paranthe khati thi ab sirf ek khati hu ..... because of same reason.....mujhe b wo tave se utra garam garam parantha......so yummmmmmm
I'm still getting around making aaloo parathas, my mom and mom in law still make garam garam parathas for me haha. But you're absolutely right, the one time I did try my hand at it, wo maza nahin aaya. Down to earth, refreshing videos, thanks for sharing your work and thoughts :)
Soo real. This is my first time I am commenting on any TH-cam video. I like your videos. You are a positive person and watching you gives me very positive vibes. And yes I do miss garam Roti and paratha my mom used to serve me.☺
Anu.... It's a pleasure to watch your videos. You are so much fun and full of life. I can never sit on the couch just like that after watching your videos. I get up and do something. When I was back home I realize how picky I was but after my marriage I really miss my moms cooking. Even if she makes yoghurt rice is like heaven for me now. From your videos Anu, one thing that I think everyone can understand is how much importance, fun and happiness having a family can bring into ones life. Also the attitude with which one works is really very important. I sometimes feel that your videos are here for a reason and I am glad I stumbled on your meal planning video 2 to 3 months ago. You have also ended up making me hungry for parathas today, since I love them. Please send me some here too 😉😉😉
I hit the like button even before watching your videos! All your videos are so realistic and we can all connect with it. Kudos! And keep such videos coming 😄
hi...am so inspired by your videos and i have already started preparing the weekly menu..initially it took around a hour to prepare the menu like what to eat at morning and to eat less carbs at night etc.Thank you keep posting more videos and am struggling with kachha avacado..how to make it soft..any ideas?
hello. I usually don't comment on any video. but this is the first time something inside pushed me to give u a thumps up. thank you so much I was very much depressed but now I'm feeling much better. :-)
Not only aloo Parathas anything mom makes has got different taste to it .I also feel same that ,things doesn't taste the same when I make.moms add that touch of love ❤️ in their recipes. My daughter feels the same, when we go out for breakfast on Sundays ,the weekend eating out day that is ,those pancakes does not taste the way I make at home 🏡. I feel proud and happy that my daughter feels the same, like me,😘👍
U r so swt and precise while talking. N u speak everything practically which defines ur experience. M unmarried but going to get married soon. And the best thing i learned frm u is time management.
hi,I'm watching your video's since one week..I'm really become fan of ur's..well childhood memories are really making us think that this generation cannot get that freedom or we can say the wings with which we used to fly ; reason what may be . Yes mummy k hath ka sab kuch khane mein jo maja hai woh khud bana k khane me nehi hai..i do agree with that.. now these days me n my son also enjoys your video's. He says mamma how old Aunt's sons are? he has learnt some smoothies on his own..haha...he's 10 yrs old. ur video's r so simple.everything looks so simple to which we can easily relate us .
the aloo paranthas seems yummy, in real life real home everything thing is real and feels like home no extra show off just like we common people's do everyday really this Chanel need 1 million subscribers👌👌👌👌👌👌

Of course, mother's food always tastes better.
Hello Anu,
Your memories of summer holidays sound perfect!
I have a tendency to ramble on quite a bit - so I will leave it here, so you can return to the busyness of your day. Have a lovely day Anu!
Helen :)
I know I haven't met u in person but can surely tell that you are such a positive soul😊 you make such a good mother ( u kinda remind me of my mom😊)
Thanks a lot Andrea.. it really means a lot .. appreciate it

Hi Anu! Lovely video! Try adding Xylitol ( sugar alcohol) to your tea. It tastes just like sugar but it's GI is 7 and 40% less calories than sugar.
Add it to your cup and to while boiling tea
i look u as myself I have two little sons and because of that I m busy all the time.....I m blessed with good maid but still I cook myself and most of time I become so tired by the process of preparing and feeding my kids I keep my meal in d fridge at last .....miss hot garama garam mummy k haath ka khana.... miss her every day ......

Dear Anu
Thanks for your lovely videos. You are an inspiration to me. I had to leave my PhD due to my pregnancy and now taking care of my 8 months old daughter. Things stress me at times as husband works full time and my life changed drastically. I never sat at home like this. But when I watch you..I learn a lot
You do what you gotta do!
Thanks Rupali... enjoy these moments with your little one.. they never come back.. I started working while i was in my final years of masters... and continued till almost last year... took a break and enjoying this time as well.... keep writing please
RealLife RealHome
Thanks Anu
I am living in Canada and no family member is around. ..and she is so little that I don't want to leave her at daycare..I guess will wait some more time and then think what I can do. I don't get to talk to any mature person in whole day and I don't want to make parents sad by telling them I m sad..So I guess I will be patient and enjoy tine with her.
Where do you live in Canada... I have lived dere for many years as well....
in BC
agreed completely, garam garam aloo ka paranthe by mom is the best..
I have seen all your videos and following you sincerely...... keep up your good work
Thankyou so much
I agree with you. When I cook myself, I don't enjoy as much as my mom's food. I think it's because We get tired of looking and cooking food so much that by the time we eat, it's not same... lol
+Rupal M very true
Even I strongly agree that mummy's food is awesome... the way my mom cooks is really awesome.. specially aloo paratha.
Thanks Supriya
Hi Annu.. very sweet video.
You are most welcome sweetheart.. lots of love and hugs to you. Take care!
Sucha lovely vedio... Depicting a real mommy morning aswell how we miss spent days with mommy♥ lovely
One more thing, I like to see when you are doing pooja....My day also start with pooja and Aarti....
Thankyou so much
Me and my Mom love watching your videos and your tips are also very useful. thanks!
Thankyou so much Jen:)
Mujhe b same feel hota he..
Pehle me 3 se 4 paranthe khati thi ab sirf ek khati hu ..... because of same reason.....mujhe b wo tave se utra garam garam parantha......so yummmmmmm
Still watching...... Anybody here. .. my favourite channel
I'm still getting around making aaloo parathas, my mom and mom in law still make garam garam parathas for me haha. But you're absolutely right, the one time I did try my hand at it, wo maza nahin aaya. Down to earth, refreshing videos, thanks for sharing your work and thoughts :)
Thankyou so much Asma..
Soo real. This is my first time I am commenting on any TH-cam video. I like your videos. You are a positive person and watching you gives me very positive vibes. And yes I do miss garam Roti and paratha my mom used to serve me.☺
There is so much to learn from you
Please send me some here too 😉😉😉
I am lucky to have you here... ... people who consider me as part of family... really really love you Gayathri... thankyou so much
RealLife RealHome I wish I could give this video a 1000 likes 😊

ur absolutely right..... I also miss that aloo paratha that my mom use to give me with dahi. direct from the hot tava.
you are right!mummy ke hath ka khana is the best,I craved for my mum's food during my entire pregnancy as I was in US and my parents live in India
That is so true... muje bhi kabhi kabhi lagta ma hoti to garam sooji ka halwa bana ke deti... apne aap kuch bhi bana lo vo bat nahi aati
I hit the like button even before watching your videos! All your videos are so realistic and we can all connect with it. Kudos! And keep such videos coming 😄

Thanks Karishma
RealLife RealHome ☺️👌👌
hi,I'm watching your video's since one week..I'm really become fan of ur's..well childhood memories are really making us think that this generation cannot get that freedom or we can say the wings with which we used to fly ; reason what may be .
