Thinking about the disconnect that exists within the Ace family is wild. Everything, literally everything, is for their appearance. They bathed their children in freezing water inside of a multimillion dollar mansion. They cooked meals on a hot plate in a dazzling kitchen full of brand new appliances. It's actually sickening. They could have lived modestly, even semi-luxuriously, with warm water and working appliances, yet they chose to forego basic human needs in the name of their own appearance. What's worse, their kids suffer. Unreal.
The fact that they think this is vindicating themselves from the fact that they defaulted on their loan. Like just shows that they’re idiots on top of being cheap and broke.
& why not heat up the kids' water for a bath using the hot plate....

Bathing their baby in cold water is abuse. If you have the means and choose to not properly care for your child that is literal abuse. And he tried to hold her back at that moment, even Austin knew that info was too much... I don't even wanna believe someone would do that. Residential architect here. The purpose of the certificate of occupancy is for the city to verify that the home is SAFE to live in and meets code. This is why no matter how much money you have, you cannot “pay” to get a certificate of occupancy. If they don’t have a C of O, chances are the home was not verified safe to live in.

They said that themselves multiple times. The city kept sending a list of things to fix, they’d try to hire someone to do it, the city would set up inspectors to come see the house again but they never showed up.

What would it even matter if an inspector showed up or didn't show up to their home if it was never going to pass a safety inspection with all of the remaining structural AND cosmetic issues it had that made it legally unsafe to live in?

Mr.Kate was supposed to decorate their entryway and living room for an episode of their TH-cam series and after they planned everything, Austin went and furnished the area with tacky black and white furniture because he thought he could design better than MR KATE. Courtney is the best caller yet I like how she doesn’t sound nervous and isnt trying too hard to “be entertaining” like I feel like sometimes people are trying really hard to be funny and entertaining and you can tell they are nervous, and I don’t blame them I would be the exact same way. honestly like it made me laugh in disbelief 😂 My sister and I have been making our family Christmas Dinner since we were in our late teens, we transitioned the cooking responsibility over to us from my mom and grandma. Other family members help with chopping etc so it's a full effort but it's up to us to cook or else no ones eatin, the idea of turning up in my early twenties to a family meal without contributing to cooking and asking for whole other thing to be made from me is wild.
