I like to think that in like 70 years this arcade cabinet will end up at some thrift shop, and someone will buy it but not be able to find record of its creation, and kickstart their very own real life creepy pasta.

I mean if the internet doesn't change that much to how it is today, which is saying a lot now that I think about it, they could probably find out the origins the game is based around.

Andie went from unsure, to confident, to burnt out, to 'I will do what I want to do', and the relief of finishing it. Congrats, Andie.
Basically andie's 5 stages of grief 😅
As someone who has done game coding (using unity) and has a parent whose career is coding this video made me emotional. I never realized how much you can truly connect with people through the shared experience of coding being the worst (but also great).
I really want to get into making games in the future, it seems like fun.
The most common experiences of coding I’ve heard of is finding some janky code which shouldn’t work that you don’t remember writing and being too afraid to touch for fear of it breaking or the code randomly fixing itself.
i wanna learn unity codeing for when i have a beter laptop please let me know if you wanna help teach me!
Little did she know this game would be one of the hardest fans games in history

For future reference, you can hook up the buttons on an arcade machine control panel to a keyboard, so you don’t need controller support.
Ngl, I feel like a dumb dumb rn. I saw this video only recently pop up, and yet despite me being very fascinated by arcade games and watching others make games, I somehow didn’t want to watch. I thought it was just going to be another YTuber who was putting something out there that wasn’t worth my time. Boy was I wrong.
This whole video reminded me of why I love watching people make games, learning about old things that I never got to experience, and just watching something big go through so much passion and process. It got me excited to try and make my own little game in the future when I have everything figured out, plus have the tools I necessarily need.
This was really fun to watch, and you are SUCH a champ pushing through and getting it done. This was a really big inspiration, and I’m glad you’re proud of it in the end.
Bro made a whole essay.
As a game developer, I suggest you take breaks whenever you get unmotivated. I personally create a “save file” writing all my current ideas and even making some concept art so I don’t forget what I’m doing when I return, then I work on different projects or play games similar to mine to get inspiration and motivation.
This is a 10/10 tip to keep the motivation and creativity juices flowing without having a time of drought.
Fun Fact:
Back in FNAF 1, Scott wasn't sure if 4/20 mode was even possible and so he was surprised that someone managed to beat it to where he updated the game to give a third star. Shows that even though it may seem impossible, anything is possible. All of this just to say take everything I say with a grain of salt
I swear, when I was little, I thought nothing was wrong with the name “4/20 mode” but now I’m dirty minded.
Fun fact:
If you limit fps to 2 you can win all levels of fnaf1 without doing anything
Heheh funny number

Who else thinks that having an actual FNAF arcade game could possibly be the craziest thing to ever happen for the community. Not only do we get to experience what a FNAF arcade game would be like, but also how we can finally experience those 8-bit mini game cutscenes that showed us about the lore in the original games to actually now playing them like on an actual arcade machine like if it really is from Freddy’s.

When i used to do art i would give up after trying and trying again and it would not work. Now because of you my mindset has changed! whenever i do art now and i feel like giving up i think "what would Andie do?" and i keep trying until i'm successful. seeing this video that u did 10 months ago inspires me so much!! i'm currently making a project!. a FNaF room the size of a room from a dollhouse but with a stage and custom made FNaF action figures inside. i am determined into making it work and i will not give up. i spend up to a hour a day working on it and the rest either watching your channel or anime. you have had a huge impact on my life and i am so thankfull for you. you have changed me as a person and my emotions! once agein i love all of your work and i hope you keep it up. I have never seen this channel, but by the first 5 minutes of this video I had already subscribed. The fact that you took 2 years to make a entire game, and seeing a whole new perspective on how your fangame’s scope got bigger and bigger, the burden of burnout and self doubt, and how you started from knowing basically nothing about game development to developing a giant indie game by yourself (with help on music, learning game development, and your brother help you assemble the arcade cabinet) and seeing this giant perfectionist struggle to create a game wrapped up in a 1 hour video is insane. 16 gold stars out of 5!
I'm a newcomer as well. Easily 16 gold stars.
Just having someone show the process of an ACTUAL ARCADE FANGAME is amazing, i can see just how much swear, tears and blood people can put into projects thrybare trully passionate about!
This is absolutely amazing!! 🤩🤩🤩
The cabinet came you looking so epic!
The game looks like a blast, I love your style of pixel art!! I'm downloading it right now!
You made your own 8-bit styled fnaf game. There were some ups and downs that took months or years And made your own arcade cabinet for it. You did amazing. Have a good day, friend.
You know, if someone made a potential FNAF World 2, I feel like that would make a suitable arcade game.
Well, there's an arcade game based on Dungeons and Dragons, so it wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility!
As someone who actively works with coders and is a very new coder myself, this is so so impressive and I am so so proud of you!! Look how far you got! Every coder no matter how long they have been coding faces the same problems you faced, and you got past them amazingly!! I’m losing my crap over the artwork and design, it’s beautiful! You should place this in a few arcades and make it like the next polybius. Something people remember seeing in the arcade, it disappears, some people don’t know if it was real or if they imagined it, but never knowing what the story is with it.
Thats a stretch tho 😂
Heh, just like a sister to make the brother do all the hard work and then take the fun job of making the game. Grannies aren't the only ones who knit and you should give it a try, because it's very relaxing and can be set aside at a moment's notice and picked back up again when you have a few minutes or even done absentmindedly while watching TV. Also, you may feel like you don't want to make another game now, but do something simpler and a lot of times and eventually you'll gain enough experience to be fast at it as well as enjoy the process more. Although, it really would help if you fully learned how to program too.
I have to give mad respect to @Andiematronic for putting two years of unedited videos of the process in to one hour for one video and make a completely new video game out of scratch. That show how much love she puts into this channel, I just have to give my respect to this one.

This is one of the best games I’ve seen in a long time. I’m sure that 90% of the viewers on this channel felt absolute joy upon the release of this video because they got to see what had happened over the course of the two years of silence. Although a lot of people worried - including myself - this seems like an incredibly satisfying payoff. Bravo.

took an intro to computer science course earlier this year to learn python in specific and oh god that was the vibe while making a game (somehow turned out as one of the most functional in my class with cool mechanics, even if it wasn't quite as inspired as some of my friends'. despite me having spent 30% of the project on indecision and not being able to fix every last bug)

Hello! Stumbled across this wonderful video via recommendations and, my God, I never expected it to be such a ride!
I'm not exactly sure what to say in this comment since I barely type them in general, but I just wanna say that this INSPIRED me. Making a game or any type of activity that involves art is unbelievably hard. Which some people tend to forget, even if they're the ones making it. I myself am an artist who has lots of passion for their craft, but is often a bit harsh on myself. That's why seeing this video not only made my jaw drop from how dedicated you are to your projects and your audience, but also reminded me that any kinds of challenges indeed makes us become a better version of ourselves, and that all the hardwork that comes with it pays off.
Thank you Andie and everyone involved for such a marvelous video and a wonderful game. I'm going to check it out the moment I'll post this comment!

This is actually so cool! This has got to be the best fnaf fan game with the classic 8-bit and all the range of characters, endings and every detail is amazing and I can’t explain how good this game is
I agree
Im so happy your back! I just finished the fnaf movie and remembered you and found that you made some recent videos im so glad and happy your back. :)
I just realize this video came out the same day as my birthday and honestly this was probably the best birthday present I could ever get because you are one of my favorite contact creators
