I can’t help but ONLY play Ithaca because of the EPIC:SAGAS 😭 I’m addicted to just playing Odysseus while jamming to the music 😂

You really should prioritize taking down enemy ranged units, especially archers and javelins. They are absolutely devastating in Dynasties.

Haven't finished the video but wanted to comment and say that glad to see more Pharaoh content start showing up. Like you I thought overall the foundation for Pharaoh was there and thought the battles themselves were pretty fun.
Yeh agreed, I understand why it's not everyone's cup of tea but they made sure to provide the improvements for us

Is that how its supposed to be pronounced? I was actually wondering
@@mendax2251 Nooope... Generally in the English-speaking world it's pronounced "I-thuh-kuh", with a short I sound and stress on the first syllable (there is a city in New York state by this name). In modern Greek it's "Ithaki", pronounced "i-THY-kee", which is a little closer to what this guy managed.
More egregious is his pronunciation of "Achaeans" which comes out as "AH-kuns" somehow, which isn't even close. In English this is pronounced "uh-KAY-uns", whereas in modern Greek it would be "ah-KHY-ahs", with the "KH" consonant sound something a bit between an English H and a German CH.
No matter how you slice it, somebody skipped the research portion of this assignment.

its certainly possible. Gold is overrated on this game, so if you have the right strategy it could work

Not being able to play as the Jews is a big miss by CA.
Absolutely, there is more historical evidence of Jewish presence all over Egypt and Levant around this time and it's frustrating.
I personally think they should be focusing on Empire Total War 2, Rome Total War 3, Medieval Total War 3. We have been asking for these games forever, but they don't seem interested in wanting to release them. One reason could be because their current engine is designed for Troy and Pharaoh and not for a complete reskin, but what do i know! Hope creativeassembly gets back to its good years.

well, at the time of this game, the jews were all over, but it's just a bit before they got their own place, archiologists seem to think this is about the time they just kind of started to come into their own within cnaanan, that being said, they probably wanted to avoid the politics good/bad of putting them in the game as a faction in control of some area.
if it was me, I would of put them as a minor faction without a place like the sea people, and have the need to take over a place first.

For the most part it actually is historical. Not completely sure about some of the body armor (there are similar real versions but haven't seen those specific ones) but all the helmets, shields, weapons etc. are pretty accurate.
So this crap is basically just TROY 2 Total War?
Close enough to it, same engine and I think they have been using the same engine to save money from what iv read

I never liked warhammer at all, three kingdoms you could say is near fantasy and that was a great game. Should bring back empire total war 2!
