For the confused: EOT or Extra-Over Technology is simply earth tech made using materials of extraterrestrial orgin. Also, the Graviton Rifle has no place for storage on the Mk-III since it's depicted either being pulled out of a pocket dimension or launched from an allied battleship via a purgable booster (which sadly isn't included with the base kit or the AM Gunner kit. I'm hoping a future AM Boxer kit will have it.)
Just a note about not the MK-III but the pilot, the chosen main character of SRW Alpha, they possess a telekinetic power so strong that they were able to nullify the Angel's Halo from V Gundam *BY THEM SELVES*, a mental weapon powered by 1 Newtype and 20k Psychickers was nullified by a single person.
I thought I never saw the day this kit with a Bandai logo on it. I think there was a story on this that Sunrise threatened to pull Gundam out of SRW game because of the design of this.
it's funny that they did an in-universe justification of why it won't appear anymore by having almost all of them destroyed, only to appear again in VTX universe
Awesome review! As a long time Super Robot Taisen/Wars fan, I'm very excited that these are coming out so frequently. For the weapons, you could perhaps include some of the gameplay footage ( eg huckebein mkiii attacks, plenty of youtube videos available) to give an extra dimension to what the weapons actually do. Would add some flavour for people new to the series for sure!
I recently got the Daizenga/Dygengaur model kit and was super happy with it. I'm thinking there is a trend with Bandai SRW kits being really good. Can't wait to get my hands on this one.

The AM Gunner if I'm not mistaken is a P-Bandai exclusive. I haven't seen anything indicating that they are working on the AM Boxer. Another channel (wotafa) showed off the Mk III with the AM Gunner. He even tried to recreate that scene from SRW OG The Inspectors with the Boxer (Kotobukiya kit) using the Gunner.
Huckenbein-Mk3. i dunno if anyone have posted this but the 2 rifles are the Gravition Rifle(the longer Rilfe) and the Photon Rifle(the rifle that looked like magazine fed). the weapon that's usually mounted on the left arm is called Fang Slasher. Think of it as a better version of the T-Link Slash Rippers, used by MP Gespenst mk-2 Type-TT, which is a T-link system (which is basically the bio-sensor built for Psychodrivers, SRW's newtypes.) version that was based on the normal Slash Rippers from the Gespenst Line(i dunno if OG-verse develop this on their own or a certain world hopper sneakily released the plan). the Mk-3 has 2 add-on weapon pack. the AM Gunner and the AM-Boxer for Range and Melee focus mission pack respectively. AM Gunner gives the Mk-3 more missiles and 4 Gravition Cannons while the AM Boxer gives it an exo-frame that enhances both punching and kicking power and able to transform into a "surfboard" like mode that got beam emitters at the front side. fun fact, the AM boxer was planned to be SRX's alternative sword in the form of R-Sword(yes, like R-Gun, it was supposed to be a transformable, piloted personal trooper[PT]. their version of Mobile suits). but it was scrapped into it's curret form due to the Mk-3's development was faster than the SRX's. Thus the AM boxer's most powerful attack is basically what's left of the R-Sword's capable off after the refit.
Dis Astranagant would be awesome to have. Wonder what it would cost with all the stuff it pulls of in Alpha 3. I mean: Funnels, Shotgun, Scythe, back mounted cannons that rip you apart with black holes and a weapon that returns you to nothing powered by the souls of the dead. Man......why no Dis Astranagant in newer SRW games?
Well, as far as I know, the Astrnagant is already a thing and available for purchase. I recall seeing both a Kotobukiya kit and a Bandai kit of it. Not sure about the Dis Astranagant, though.
@@Baddest_of_Men I might be wrong, but the only Astranagant kit is an old koto kit, and those tend to be... not great. Definitely more of a display piece than anything else, and note something to just build and display as is, either.
The Huckebein series in SRW OG, while it was intended to become a mass production unit, it was also designed using not fully understood alien technology, wich led to a catastrophic incident. It's basically an hybrid of real robot and super robot. And it's funny how the Grungust, a proper super robot, had more units produced than the Huckebein.
Great kit! I think I'd just to add that it seems a bit dumb that you can pre-order something on HLJ but then you can wait months and it wont come anyways. They should just stop pre-orders if they couldn't meet up with the demand

So which Gundams have the defensive abilities needed to block/endure an attack from Huckebein Mk-III's Graviton Rifle? Because that's not your common beam rifle right there.
The Huckebein is a strange beast, it feels like a real robot when put beside sonething like Shin Dragon, and feels like a super robot when put beside sonething like the Victory Gundam.

SRW is basically dump as many mecha universes into the same place, shake and come up with a few stories from the aftermath of adding a a handful of unique mecha to it. Gundam is part of it already
@@AzraelThanatos Not in the OG Line....that are unique storys and mechas. But in the games, especially the Alpha series, it is kind of a mismash although a cool one. Seeing EVA-01 fighting together with Wing Zero and GaoGaigar is weirdly awesome.
I used to have the Kotobukiya version of the MK3 that was included in the Boxer version... boy that was an unpleasant hand grenade of a build experience. so glad the stability and poseability on this version is vastly better.
I was just talking with a friend about how I would love to get a good chunk of these super robot wars kits if I wasn't waiting for the armored core 6 model kits to be announced because man, does it suck. Because these have been sounding really really good to want to have especially since I don't know when we're gonna get a new super robot wars game or at least one that will be better than the recent super robot wars 30 that came out like a few years ago and while these are a bit bigger than Gundams, I'm sure these will fit perfectly in a collection with them so you can have your own little super robot war. That being said this one is definitely still as cool as the previous version and the Altaisen and thank god these model kits all have action bases. Will definitely be on a look out for some of these!

Well this kit is now officially on my radar. I'm not opposed to buying non-Gundams; I'll pick up RG Evas or DBZ kits when I see them. I'm just not familiar with the SRW franchise. I am a sucker for purple or dark blue kits though, and this does look super Gundam-y. It definitely looks like it is worth the extra amount they are charging for it too.
I wasn't particularly excited for this when it was announced. If they were to release the Boxer parts, it'd be a different story. Since they're releasing the AM Gunner to go with it, hopefully that's the route they're on.
And me if they ever released any of the Villains Mechs, like the Dikastes (or any of the inspectors), Zui Gadin (or any of the Moon Knights), Baran Schnille (or any of the Guests), AI-1, Perfectio, Astranagant, Etc...

I feel like "HG" is the wrong line for these SRW kits. This one has like 80% of an inner frame on top of the full color separation. It's only not RG because it doesn't come with a manual sized sheet of caution markings 🙃

The Huckebein Mk-III was the first SRW protagonist unit I ever played in Alpha 2. Still think it's one of the most gorgeous designs ever.
I personally think that the mass produced huckebein is the best looking. Sad there wasn't any kit of it

These are like the revised kits from the Kotobukiya versions and you can tell Bandai wanted people to say they made the best version.

I wasn't particularly excited for this when it was announced. If they were to release the Boxer parts, it'd be a different story. Since they're releasing the AM Gunner to go with it, hopefully that's the route they're on.

I can't get this kit in case they wind up making a version with the Boxer frame.
At best the Boxer frame will be a separate purchase like the AM Gunner

There is a P-Bandai AM Gunner for this kit, no Boxer yet though sadly.

I feel like "HG" is the wrong line for these SRW kits. This one has like 80% of an inner frame on top of the full color separation. It's only not RG because it doesn't come with a manual sized sheet of caution markings 🙃
