They shoulda at least also done something like a barely poseable reduced colour seperation first grade using some of the mold modeling with the beam conectors sold seperately. 7x500 would be alot more aproachable for a standard builder looking for a big statement piece.

the legs remind me of the Orbital Frames from Zone Of Enders. seriously give it a canine themed head, an extended cod piece, and maybe tack on some IBO parts. and it'd be a convincing ZoE Orbital Frame. for reference look up Idolo, Dolores, Osiris, or Anubis
i got two of them one for red and one for blue but the grid effect would have look better if i got a third. Hopefully we get a Gundnode with the cool flight pack. plz Bandai!!!
The decision to make this model P-bandai is honestly kind of baffling. A lower price tag would make the set-of-seven barrier effect far more enticing to hobbyists that are already prone to losing track of their spending. At ¥1600 (about $10 or $14 CAD), 7 kits quickly balloons into ¥11 200 (about $71 or $98 CAD). Which is a lot, but not exactly unusual when you're impulse-buying plastic robots. The Gundnode in particular is made *specifically* to be both a mass-produced hivemind mook *and* a late-season knight of cerebus at the same time, so there's plenty of baked-in temptation to buy in bulk, which the premium price tag just kills before it can even begin to sway us.
this kit is released after the end of Suisei no Majo anime that why Gundnode is Pbandai 🥲 and then they start making SEED Freedom gunpla so gotta prioritize other newest anime 💰

I have a sneaking suspicion they’ll do the 3 kits of the Pharact, Aerial rebuild and the Schwarzette with the permit score 6 effect to match how they looked during the finale, just a possibility I thought might happen.
might do a 4-pack set like the ones for Tekkadan and Gjallarhorn’s Ariandrod Fleet. The Land Man-Rodi was a recolor of the Man-Rodi with the small runner from IBO Option set 9 or 10, and the Ariandrod set came with the Dainsleif launchers for the Grazes and Iok’s Graze Commander Type.
I'm just going to be happy with my two, but I share in the desire to see someone attempt 50 of these. Heck, maybe the custom Leo guy will make a Leo version.
Size comparison to the core gundam? Those short legs though. Also do not nip those bits on the runnerless stand. They are connectors to the 3mm hole for modular stand purposes. 😅
the gundvolvas are basically modified lfriths that oeprate as full mobile suit drones. the gundnodes are specifically designed drones for this purpose are a lot more simplistic in design, bare minimum of what is needed for them to function and meant to be used in space period as a relay and personal army of quiet zero.
Having started gundam with WFM kits, i have to wonder why they're like the only kits to have colour seperated eyes. Even the 2024 release kits after them are back to requiring stickers for the eyes.

This kind of looks like a TWFM version of Jehuty............doesn't that and Anubis have model kits coming out soon? The darker color scheme and head shape also kind of reminds me of Weltal from Xenogears.

Nah don't do it man, it's P-bandai, those first runs are hella expensive. I got my Lfrith Jiu on it's 3rd reprint and the prices I see on stores have decreased tremendously! So just give it a few more runs. Don't worry, it ain't gonna go out of stock anytime soon.

It is unique that the P-Bandai HG XGF-E3 Gundnode is a new mold. I think at the least if you're going to purchase this, you might as well purchase at least 3; one for each color. For sure it would be impressive if someone purchased 50 units of this HG and recreated the scene from the anime, but that would not be worth it financially.
At this point it feels like the g-witch pbandai releases were all originally intended for mass release but they could not produce enough or something. It feels really odd. The option parts for season 2, tpermet score 5 and variants and the Gundnode. I have all g-itch kits from the normal release and i cant get my hands on pgundam stuff without significant investment. So i am pretty miffed about this. The Anavatar feels ok. That feels like a pgundam release but this....

Let's be real here. The ONLY reason this is P-Bandai is because they didn't want a retail G-Witch kit interrupting the SEED Freedom kits. It's entirely because SEED Freedom crowded out their release schedule, so they had to tuck this gem away in P-Bandai land instead of letting it shine. I bet money.

I'd rank them lower just because it's a P-Bandai grunt kit. The only time I'll let it pass if we get a mass retail standalone release and the P-Bandai variant includes the mobile armor-esque attachment. Premium grunts that aren't recolors is one thing I hate about P-Bandai.
