Hi Chris, as always, great videos and thank you so much for your time. Is there any chance you can upload the Frequency Domain Analysis video? It appears to be missing.
AE511: At around 15:00 the demonstration with the oscillating backpack absolutely killed it. This is the method of learning that works best for me. I have no doubt I will remember this demo for many years to come.
I'm really enjoying this playlist. Very clear and easy to understand explainations. Control engineering was one of the modules of my mechanical engineering course that I struggled to really get my head around. Watching this playlist, I'm having so many moments of "oh, so that's what that was about". Thank you, Mr Lum.
Thanks for walking through the manual generation of the bode plot and not jumping straight to using Matlab for its generation. It helps with the comprehension
AE511: The example with the backpack + bungee cords and linking the physical response to the bode plot gave me my clearest understanding yet of bode plots. An example always does wonders!
Brian, I'm glad you enjoyed it. There are several other controls systems videos on the channel (see pinned comment for the link). Feel free to check them out and please let me know what you think. Thanks for watching!
I'm glad it was helpful. There are several related videos on the channel. Please feel free to check them out and I would love to hear what you think in the comments. Thanks for watching!
i'm kindda in controls for 4 years tuning servo systems and analyzing bode plots, trying to push the unstable points as far right as possible. But I could never understand what i'm doing in layman terms. Thanks for the video, it has open my eyes and understood more.

Hi Christopher!
Could You please put the Link for "Frequency Domain Analysis: Introduction and Theory (TBD)" video? I can not find it..
Thanks!
yes can you say where it is
Hi Chris, as always, great videos and thank you so much for your time.
Is there any chance you can upload the Frequency Domain Analysis video? It appears to be missing.
Just saw the TBD in the extra info area:)
Great video series. But there are several videos where you suggest us to watch a video which is not uploaded on your channel
AE511: At around 15:00 the demonstration with the oscillating backpack absolutely killed it. This is the method of learning that works best for me. I have no doubt I will remember this demo for many years to come.
Great, I'm glad it was helpful. I got a little bit of trouble for stealing the lunch sack :)
AE 511: The lunchbox demonstration is something I'm gonna have to take inspiration. Probably the best bode plot explanation I've seen. Nice job
Thanks, I got in a little bit of trouble for "borrowing" the lunch sack but hopefully it is worth it :)

Melissa, thanks for the feedback, I'm glad it was helpful.
That real life example was great! 10/10 I had some hard time understanding what Bode plots are. Thank you :D
Glad it helped!
AE511: The example with the backpack + bungee cords and linking the physical response to the bode plot gave me my clearest understanding yet of bode plots. An example always does wonders!
Great, I'm glad it was helpful. I caught some grief from my daughter for stealing her lunch sack for my demo :)
Thanks for the video! I finally understand the point of using bode plots.
[AE 511]
Visualization of the Bode plot with the frozen backpack was key. Let it go! Let it go!!!!!
wow this was a phenomenal explanation. i finally completely understand bode plots. thank you so much for making this lecture video
Brian, I'm glad you enjoyed it. There are several other controls systems videos on the channel (see pinned comment for the link). Feel free to check them out and please let me know what you think. Thanks for watching!

This video is fantastic. Thank you professor.
Where is the video stated by you on "Frequency Domain Analysis: Introduction and Theory"?
+1 ,i don't know where it is !!!
you are so good in conveying concepts..

thank you
Thank you. If your loop gain has an actuator block, should you combine with the plant block to plot the bode?

What happened to part 1? You referenced it a few times in the video but I haven’t been able to find it.
awesome!
love this one

Thanks, I'm glad they are helpful!
Thanks, Sir.
AE511 Great Video!
Glad you enjoyed it
Hi Sir, where is the frequency domain analysis video
Why s = jw specifically for magnitude of the output?
i dont understand that when the input is stupid fast then how the phase shift comes to -180 instead of 0.
hello
does any one have this lecture as text or pdf files?
Thank you for all
