I think Doboy is suffering from recency bias with Drake.
Kanye was killing the game for at least 5-6 albums over a 10-12 year span, and was collaborating with everybody. Not to mention the beats and the artists he put on. I give Drake his props for being vulnerable but Kanye also has more creative song concepts.

If you want to count his stuff before 03 likes the beats he made for Jay's Blueprint album and after 2013 then that's up for debate, but from 03 to 13 kanye was the shit.

On God! More Life was definitely a miss. Niggad never mention that in Drake’s catalog really bc it was not good enough to be memorable. Doboy said Scorpion was hard but Drake could’ve kept half that album no bs. IYRTITL wasn’t a classic. That was a 2016 album when rap was distributing hit after hit and was a memorable summer for people. The only classic album to me was Take Care and NWTS is honorable mention 🤷🏾♀️

When Graduation outsold Curtis, the forefront of hip hop shifted from gangsta rap to introspective, emo, backpack type rap which paved the way for artists like Drake, J Cole, Big Sean, Wale, Cudi, Chance etc. Also 808 and heartbreaks birthed Drake and 40’s (his producer) signature sound. There is NO So Far Gone or Thank Me Later and certain aspects of Take Care without 808 and Heartbreaks. 40 said that he heard 808s and ran with the sound because it was so dope. Drake admitted in 09 during an interview that Kanye is the most influential artist that has shaped his sound. Kanye has a better and more influential discography than Drake; take a look at this run; College Dropout (04), Late Registration (05), Graduation (07), 808 and heartbreaks (08), MBDTF (2010), WTT (2011), Cruel Summer (2012), Yeezus (2013), TLOP (2016), Ye & Kids See Ghosts (2018). Nobody in hip hop is fucking with Kanye’s discography. Kanye and Outkast are the only hip hop artists to have their first 5 Classic albums in a row (Kendrick will do this soon). Kanye is more influential and has influenced more artists than Drake. Ye has influenced; Lupe, Drake, Cudi, Wale, Big Sean, J Cole, Chance, Travis Scott, Young Thug, Future, Weeknd, Child Gambino, Frank Ocean, Juice Wrld (RIP 🙏🏾), Lil Uzi Vert, DaBaby. Kanye’s albums have shifted the sound and/or landscape of hip hop and music more on multiple occasions; College Dropout ( repopulating soul samples), Graduation (creating arena/stadium type music and shifting the forefront of hip hop away from Gangsta rap), MBDTF raised the standard for the quality of a hip hop album; the closest thing to a Thriller type hip hop album if you’re taking into account the short film, production, impact of songs, quality of the lyrics and messaging). Kanye is way more creative than Drake; his tours are more creative, Kanye does the stage design production for his tours; Glow in the dark tour (2008), Watch The Throne tour (2011-2012), Yeezus Tour (2013-2014), Saint Pablo Tour (2016-2017), there’s no Kanye album that sounds the same, every album he has reinvented himself and has explored different sounds and also fashion wise has a different look attached to every album I.e his look during the College Dropout era was way different to his look during the 808s era. Kanye has taken way more risks creatively than Drake such as 808s which was a drastic turn from Graduation but he was willing to take a risk dispute the initial resistance from fans. The same thing with Yeezus after MBDTF and WTT, was a drastic turn and was a big risk but he took it and it paid off. Although since Views Drake has tapped into other genres of music like Dancehall, Afrobeats and UK Drill, he has stayed within his comfort zone and has take risks like Kanye. Kanye is a trendsetter and will start sounds and styles that he will get killed for and that allows other artists that come after him to be able to walk into those sounds/styles without criticism such as Drake with 808s and Travis with 808s and Yeezus. Even Weeknd with 808s. Drake isn’t a trendsetter, he adapts well to the sounds/styles that other people created such as Kanye/Cudi via 808s, Weeknd(4 songs/hooks on Take Care) , Migos (Versace flow), Future (WATTBA), Afrobeats, Dancehall and now UK Drill. Kanye has way more creative and groundbreaking music videos than Drake and is the only male hip hop artist to receive a MTV Michael Jackson Video Vanguatd award. Kanye’s live performances are more creative and better; there’s no Drake live performance that touches Kanye’s MTV VMA 2010 Runaway performance, or Stronger/Hey Mama performance at the 2008 Grammys or the Otis performance with Jay at the 2011 MTV VMA awards, All Day performance in 2015 at the Brit Awards, Famous performance at the 2016 Paradise International Music Festival, Through the wire performance at the Late Orchestration Concert at Abbey Road in 2005. We can’t name 5 iconic Drake live performances that touch that. Drake is currently running with Virgil at fashion shows, who put Virgil on ? Kanye did. Drake is a great artist and has hits and great billboard chatting success and is in my top 5. BUT Kanye is a better and more influential artist, he has a better discography, he’s more influential and he’s more creative and you have to include the fact that he not only produces for other people but he produces on his own albums and is a top 5 producer of all time. You may not like Kanye as a person because he thinks for himself but you definitely can’t deny his contribution to hip hop and to music in the last 20 years. And I haven’t even mentioned his discography as a producer from 98-2018. Kanye and Wayne influenced very artists that debuted during the 2010s decade. That’s a fact. And I haven’t even mentioned the Yeezy brand’s impact on hip hip.
