- The Joka- Esplanade, Kolkata Metro Purple Line has got a boost in work as construction of the Mominpore and Khidirpur Station has begun after a prolong delay! This Line will eventually connect Joka and Behala with Esplanade by 2028 if all goes well according to the plans. The main reason for TBM launching between Khidirpur and Victoria is the Adi Ganga canal most probably, otherwise it might also be cut and cover.
