My Birmingham, Alabama's NBC station WVTM-TV Alabama's 13 Didn't interrupted L.A Riot Coverage for Cosby Show finale. I was a 2 year old toddler in 1992.
I believe that the Cosby finale most certainly injected some peace and reflection into the violence, however small. A lot of those causing the most trouble grew up with this show. The draw toward the television was very strong that night. Thank you Bill.
Boy, I bet you $500 quadrillion that KNBC Channel 4 had more viewers on the night of April 30, 1992, when "The Cosby Show" ended its run, than any other TV station in Los Angeles! Am I right on that?!
1992: Bill Cosby is an American icon.
