This is the best video I have seen on using the automatic needle threader. Thank you so much. However, there is another thread guide right at the top of the needle that you do not have your thread through. This could cause stitches not to be a good as if the thread was through that guide. Sometimes it will cause a little "loop" on the top part of the stitch.

1 thing that can help- between the 4 prongs there is a tiny hook that threads it. Make sure the thread is behind that hook and it will go in. I had to watch this video a couple of times before I saw that my thread was not quite getting on the other side of that hook. Life changing!

So many people have tried to show how to thread this machine and everyone was so far off.
A couple of them even said it doesn't work correctly so they threaded it by hand.
Mine threaded the first time after I watched your video.

Wow. I got a Brother Strong and Tough because I needed something portable. I was immediately irritated by aspects of the machine, like tension control and its inability to sew more than two layers at a time. The needle threader was particularly annoying because NO ONE had a video showing a clear picture of it. Hands in the way, poor lighting, no close-ups etc. Your video makes it look so simple! I'm heading back to the sewing room to try this and perhaps the S & T won't have to live in the closet. I was glad to see the Project Runway also has the feature. Thank you so much!

I always put the thread through the last thread guide before reading the needle it helps keep it all in alignment. If you are not sure where the last thread guide is its just infront of the needle but.

I’ve has this machine for awhile but never needed it until today when my Janome died. I’m happy with it, but the threader doesn’t flip around to bring the hook into the eye to catch the thread. The leaver comes down, but doesn’t rotate. Any ideas? EDITED, I just tried again -with the pressor foot down- and it worked.
