Another idea is you do like a special like All the things you have put out in other videos all in one so like you put water Mellon pizza and peanut butter and stuff like that you already have done all next too each other
As a person who spends a lot of time in the outdoors on my own 20 acre property, and who has decades of experience with wildlife may I offer a few inputs. Before doing that, your video is top quality footage. Good job! Keep observing and sharing your footage. It will help others learn about nature. Ok, first many animals LOVE corn, starting with humans and going all the way down the chain to mice. Nearly everything eats it. Quite a lot of animals eat fruits too. There were many who eat both that didn't happen to visit your camera site. But you may catch some of them on future videos. Second, one thing to be very careful about however is that corn, once it gets wet, can develop bacteria that is toxic to deer and some other animals. Eating tainted corn can kill them. Thus go easy with the amount of corn you pour directly onto the ground. Only put out enough that can be consumed by the animals within 24 hours. And avoid putting out corn before a rain or other water event. If you want an easy to build, cheap but permanent feeder, check out the one on my You Tube channel. I have a video on how to build one that will last for years. It is a trough style feeder with a roof covering that helps keep the corn dry. All the animals can easily use it. Third, for deer to be able to digest corn, they MUST have special enzymes in their stomachs. Older, more mature deer likely have eaten corn before and will be able to digest it easily. But very young fawns probably do NOT have the enzymes they would need. Thus eating very much corn would likely create stomach problems for them. Mama Doe knows this, thus no reason to summons them to a corn pile. They don't need to be eating it yet. And as you noted, they didn't just gobble it up. Racoons and possums are omnivores, as they eat meat and plants (including veggies and fruits.) Essentially those critters will eat dang near anything. Their food doesn't have to be fresh either. They will eat rancid and rotting foods. Plus they are not beyond cannibalism as they will eat meat of their own species if it is available. Overall, these two critters are nasty eaters. So they show up to check out anything that remotely smells like edible food and if they find something, they will likely dig into it with gusto. Deer rarely eat any type of meat, although they can and will eat small baby birds or any other small animal that they can digest. But deer eat well over 700 different types of plants so they too will try most anything that is a plant, vegetable, or fruit. NOTHING gets wasted in nature. Something will eat and consume anything you leave in the woods. Great video. Thanks for sharing.
Living in third world countries my entire life I can say that a lot of people in these parts of the world let their parents serve food first or elder people get to eat first no matter what. It's a sign of respect. In a lot of the more developed parts of the world it's the kids that eat first 🙄🤪😂 fun fact 😁
@@RomanumChristum ahahahahahhaah love the triggeredness cuz you guilty affff ahahahahaha well obviously your parents care more about you then you do them 😂😂😂😂 but offering them first is respect. If they choose to let you eat first that's their problem. But you as a good child can offer your parents first 😏😏😉😉
Fantastic videos! I love them! Since it’s harvest season, I put out whole pumpkins. The deer love ‘em, and the seeds draw in many other animals. Keep ‘em whole but just use your axe and chop them open.
It’s always the raccoons that show up. Opossums a lot too. I live in a small town and I see raccoons a lot. The house next to me is abandoned. It’s in bad shape and no longer livable. I suspect raccoons have taken residence in it. The floor is rotted out, they probably found a hole and got in.
I heard in a documentary that bears have the greatest sense of smell. But raccoons kinda look like little bears😆So, IDK. Anecdote: In a different documentary they say Tyrannosaurus Rex was a scavenger. Those little arms couldn't catch anything, but with the size of those nostrils it could smell a dead carcass from 20 miles away.
Love this!!! I don't have a trail cam, but I feed the beasties, too! I was surprised your deer didn't go for the watermelon! I always cut my rind up and by deer pig out! They love it! Anyway...this is great! Really enjoying!
It would be cool to leave a melon that hasn't been cut to see if anything would open it up. If they down at some point it will rot and then see what goes after it.

These videos are so addicting lol don’t mind me while I waste my day bingeing them all lol
Another idea is you do like a special like All the things you have put out in other videos all in one so like you put water Mellon pizza and peanut butter and stuff like that you already have done all next too each other
Wildlife rehabber from Ct here...I loved this!!.
Forest animals need some help as we move in and thoughtlessly cut down their nut trees. Xo
the deer got the zoomies
Great channel. Love it and love the animals. Your narrations are the very best
I am new to your channel. I absolutely love what you do! Thank you for being so kind and thoughtful for feeding these beautiful creatures!
I am addicted to these videos!! Thank u so much for doing them!!
Living in third world countries my entire life I can say that a lot of people in these parts of the world let their parents serve food first or elder people get to eat first no matter what. It's a sign of respect. In a lot of the more developed parts of the world it's the kids that eat first 🙄🤪😂 fun fact 😁
So parents putting their children first is bad? Seems like you are just being ignorant of traditions
@@RomanumChristum ahahahahahhaah love the triggeredness cuz you guilty affff ahahahahaha well obviously your parents care more about you then you do them 😂😂😂😂 but offering them first is respect. If they choose to let you eat first that's their problem. But you as a good child can offer your parents first 😏😏😉😉
Where are you from. Interesting tradition.
@@hischild3759 well I'm German and Sri lankan but I lived in a small town in India in an international school my mum used to go to 🤪🤪🤪🤪
@@AydnLuy Wow! I’ve mostly always lived in the state where I was born, Mississippi. We always ate together.
Sweet! Thank you for this video. Beautiful!
Your videos let me know there's hope.
Awhh all those bambis! ♥ Can't wait for the next episode
Very enjoyable to watch!! Thank you!
The blackbird that aren't crows are Grackles.
Cool Ace THX and i subed ya too.
Fantastic channel! Thanks for posting. 👍
This video hooked me, gotta watch more now! Thanks
Fantastic videos! I love them! Since it’s harvest season, I put out whole pumpkins. The deer love ‘em, and the seeds draw in many other animals. Keep ‘em whole but just use your axe and chop them open.
I think Ace just likes chopping stuff with that axe!
Thank you for doing this. I so enjoy your video's. Amazing what you discover.
Yum.!! That look yummy.!!! Thank you for sharing !!!! 😁🌻
Deer are so heccin cute!
The deer got the zoomies!! 🤣
It’s to bad he hardly uploads stuff. Such an interesting channel.
I'm guessing when T Rex showed up at the carcass, the rest of the dining guests decided they've had enough.😅
,👍
Just found your channel and would love to watch them for hours!
I hope more videos are coming soon :)
*I love these videos 🤎🧡💛Thanks a lot!!!👌💯*
Good food for Honey Bees 👍
Raccoon's love anything sweet. Thanks for sharing.
My deer love watermelon, cantaloupe most fruit except citrus.
What a treat for the raccoons- they looked really hungry. Mine love grapes. Cute kits 💕
Love this!!! I don't have a trail cam, but I feed the beasties, too! I was surprised your deer didn't go for the watermelon! I always cut my rind up and by deer pig out! They love it! Anyway...this is great! Really enjoying!
I’m really glad I ran across your films they are a lot of fun to watch!!!!❤️👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 if my pig was there there wouldn’t be any watermelon left. 🐷
Mother raccoon "you kids are getting on my last nerve, I'm gone" 😁 your trail does an awesome job!
It would be cool to leave a melon that hasn't been cut to see if anything would open it up. If they down at some point it will rot and then see what goes after it.
