This happened to me I lost my job that I love so much and was crying day and night fighting to stay on that job, I kept on asking God why? You know that I wanted to stay in that Job. I few weeks later got a better job and a promotion. I am much better now by His mercy and grace. Every time a friend complaining about a situation, I tell them to leave everything in God’s hands His ways is better and He knows what His doing and we pray together for patience and wisdom and specially to trust God’s plan. Glory to You Lord for granting us patient, mercy, salvation and faith. 🙏
When my husband walked out on myself, a toddler and a young son that adored him - don’t know how or why but I picked up and read Job. That put things in perspective. Indeed those cruel years did lead to great joy and Peace. Now I’m thankful for what we went through.
I am an innocent victim of human evil. It has tested my faith. I am actually choosing to draw CLOSER to the Lord - although I have been stripped of everything… My job, my belongings since birth, my family and my home. I’m from Chicago and from Bishop Barron’s neighborhood and rival Catholic High School. How I wish I could contact him for advice on how to mend my family of origin and prove my innocence. God bless you all. 🙏🏻❤️✝️ I ask for prayers please.
My then husband gave me covid, then he kicked me and my minor son to the curb, I lost my really good job, a court case went against me, my mom passed away, and my oldest son was in a horrible motorcycle accident and was in the hospital for 3 months all in a span of 6-9 months, starting at the end of 2021. It all started on December 21, 2021. I joined the Catholic Church in March of 2022.
Oof! That's rough. I hope you experience our Ladys closeness in her Rosary. I went through a "pile-up" of my own and I consider her Rosary the road God used to start getting me out of it.
I wonder if my falling in love with a man in cloth is also God's plan. I'd like to believe it is because it's been about twenty years now. How I carry myself and continue my ordinary life even without any contact with him is something divine. But wait, we met at the church and he was about to preside the Holy Mass. Well...must be saying to be: it's OK to love. Keep loving.
God restored Job, but even new children can't resurrect the ones lost. For that reason I never accepted the point that it seems the book is trying to make. And what of Job's wife who wasn't a subject of the test?
Sorry, but this rings shallow. There are so many human beings whose lives are painful and without hope, from beginning to end, and no wonderful plan B ever emerges for them. They die in bitterness and despair, or worse yet, dead inside. Please don't trivialize human suffering. There is too much of it that spiritually pointless.
Jesus never promised us easy lives if we follow him. Everything we do with love for others will be rewarded in heaven. Bitterness is from Satan. You must try and keep your heart clean and pure. Ask Jesus to remove the spirit of bitterness. It’s a demon
@@anfisa1060 You comment is directed to the wrong person. Please direct it to those who are suffering deeply. Tell those who are in despair that they are to blame for their despair. There is never any lack of blame in Catholic moral theology.
Does your audience realize that you're simply stealing and reusing video that someone else (who is far more popular than you) created, for your own personal gain? Is this even legal? It certainly seems immoral.
Yes and very annoying cutting Bishop Barron short. He seems to convince himself by hanging onto the Bishop's coattails he has something worth saying however not by taking up half of the podcast he needs a bit of introspective honest self-examination of his motives here me thinks?
Romans 6:9 KJV "knowing that CHRIST being raised from the dead dies no more; death has no more dominion over HIM. 10 For in that HE died, HE died unto sin ONCE: but in that HE lives, HE lives unto GOD. Hebrews 10:12 KJV "But this MAN (JESUS CHRIST), after "HE had offered ONE SACRIFICE FOR SINS FOREVER" sat down on the right hand of GOD 14 For by ONE OFFERING (CHRIST shedding HIS real blood and giving HIS real body on a real cross) HE has PERFECTED FOREVER (saved) them that are sanctified (forgiven of all sins) 18 Now where remission of these (sins) is, "there is NO MORE OFFERING FOR SIN" (Parenthesis mine) Note: CHRIST paid the penalty for sin which is death ONCE for us in our place. There are no more offerings to be made.
@@Bluets023 CHRIST prayed to the FATHER in John 17:17 KJV "Sanctify them through thy truth: thy WORD is truth." The HOLY SCRIPTURES are GOD's WORD therefore they are the truth. I recommend the KJV taken from the Received Majority Text. Read the HOLY SCRIPTURES to know what the truth is not man made traditions or pope declarations. There are only two faiths in the world. True Christianity vs all the false faiths no matter what they call themselves. True Christianity is assured forgiveness of all sin once for all by GOD's free gift of Grace through faith not of any work (Eph 2:8-9 KJV). And then, there are all the other false faiths which say a continuous process of works are required for the forgiveness of your sins.....maybe....if your works are good enough. The RCC is in the last category.

Glad they are helpful,
I am going through a rough time in my life my heart is shattered from a person Who has abandoned me e after 21 yrs
Does Bishop Barron mention what happens at the end of Job's story? You said it at 4:00: Job got back double for the trouble.
My ? has always been
“Why not Me?”
How am I so different ?
I asked if Jesus had some time to sit with me today

God tests the ones he loves the most.
Jesus is the prime example of that very point.
I guess that makes you soooooooooo special.

I think a close reading of the Bible would show that if there is a god he has a really weird personality.
