Mad skills I mean they even matched the freaking tread on the sole it's flawless ... When there done you wouldn't even be able to tell part was cut off and replaced

I can't seem to find this answer anywhere. Do shoe companies paint their sneakers? So you're just replacing lost paint? What is the original finish? Is it just acrylic paint with finisher?
Yes all leather is painted. Original color of leather is tan or light brown usually. Leather paint is acrylic usually.
What kind of dye do you usually use? Does it harden the leather?
Leather dye and no.

Под уф лампой это процесс очищения. Здесь он и так почистил подошву, поэтому просто вставку подкрасил
