Don't let anyone call you a nit or anything like that - I think you're showing not only a realistic and sensible approach for low-stakes grinding...but also highlighting the importance of picking spots, utilizing position, and not understating the recognition of player/opponent types. The "big name" vloggers are cool, but my favorite videos lately have come from your channel and other low & mid-stakes creators like Ben Deach from Reno, PokerfaceAsh, and Doug McCusker from Sacramento.
In my eyes, I would've not bluffed with those 77's. The Flush, Straight and Trip K's all get there. Almost all of those would call, your raise and you lose. Either fold or make the call. With the call, you will likely lose almost all the time, but you get to pick up what pos 1 had, plus understand his bet pattern. I liked how you walked away. You knew you weren't there mentally. That's a smart move. Like your videos, keep up the good work!

I get you are tryna be very gto n that’s good but only if your opponents are all playing gto, if not this is probably affecting your game more than helping. You need to be playing 2-4 suited 53 suited kj off AJ off to an open of 15 in position or if you don’t wanna call 3! You gotta be able to 3! Wide in these games to win brotha. I’m no 2-5 goat but I def noticed my winnings increased by bluffing and 3! A wider range. Do with that as you will jus noticed you over folding hands I’m def calling at worse but mostly 3 betting.
that bluff was a miscalculation. 22% ($50) river bet is never a bluff. Particularly not by someone who 3-bet first time for the entire session...so, he had it. Raising here is a lose/lose action...no worse hand would call, no better would've folded. *Hand reading* is what was missing here by 100%: The hand that is scared of paired board on turn and flush flop - would not bet river. Rather small bet (22%) was because opponent wanted to extract some value out of weak pair (77, 88, 99) on dangerous board. Plus, one must beware of trapping. (turn check!) . EDIT: initially, I'd called $50 river bet, but not after I did the analysis. lol
I don’t like the 77 hand, it doesn’t make much sense, what are you repping after turn check, river raise. Really nothing but a FH or air. I am likely going to call him down light with any pair or better.

I think there are more but that’s what I can remember. That being said I like his play it’s definitely a grind but profitable in the long run! The only issue is if everyone at the table played this way it would be a pointless game
I like these videos. It shows the reality of a session instead of the couple hands in a session that you make a big hand. Other videos make it look like you just hit monsters and win huge pots. Nice job man. I love watching your videos. Teaches the reality of having patience and finding your spots.
My last 4 sessions have been almost exactly like this! Thanks for being real and showing the video even when it’s a bad day. Helps to realize it does happen to other players
This is very similar to my session yesterday. It just felt like I had to fold out my equity over and over again and was getting blown off every hand by the river. All bluffs were getting raised, etc. I think you did well disciplining yourself not to react with mindless aggression. I think you just found yourself in a bunch of terrible spots and you saved yourself money. The bluffs were fine, just bad luck running into certain hands. In my case I am planning to c-bet a bit more often in these kinds of tables. I think your strategy of checking out of position may have cost you a couple hands towards the end because you look so weak and the in-position players can just apply pressure. Anyway, Keep it up man, another great video.

As well check calling can look stronger than bet checking since that can just look like you bet range and are giving up on the turn

The same one who bluffed on 4 hearts board 21:48 He is kind of players who are specialists for bluffing on flushy board (whenever they sense opponent does not have flush, they blast pot!!). Every poker table has one!
Who knows it could be. I don’t think there’s enough information though with just a few hands to have such deductions. I’ll stick to the way I believe population plays until they show me something different
I'm at 9:18 pm in the video, and I have only one criticism. You should change tables if everyone is folding to your preflop raises. You need to find a looser table.
Mid way through this vlog. Why don't you switch tables this ones seems SUPER tight and bad for a pro to be playing at and making money. Seems like there would be much higher EV tables around especially in VeGaS......

Vegas has some of the softest 1/2 - 1/3 games in the world. Seems like you were at a very tight table. Ya gotta remember that you are a poker player first. If a game is super juicy and doesn’t let you vlog you’re much better off playing in that game and not vlogging. Just seems like you played at a really bad table and raised/called too loosely pre.

Bad game selection on this one. Seems like a lot of these guys are studied and play opening ranges well. I would make my opens $15 instead of $20 in games like this. Don’t mind the 4-5x opens in splashier games.

Absolutely. Gotta table change when you get a shitty one like that. Even a resorts world 1-3 is better than that game. I open to $20 in early positions or $25 and lower to $15 once I get later.

I’m not a fan of having a big calling range. I prefer to be the preflop aggressor by raising or 3betting. I do have a calling range from the button just not very wide
When you see people comments about how you are tight or you are fish and they play online freerolls and 1-10$ tournements...He is not a multi-millioner who can play anything anytime. Keep grinding bro, you have a nice fanbase and full support. I think your only big mistake here was AK hand in the end. You had 2 players before you so your bet should be higher to eliminate one of them and you should not allow flop goes check through and give them a chance for flash. Otherwise, you played ok and didn't have luck with boards.
You shouldn’t be playing gto vs non professional players who don’t kno a lick about it. You should be playing more hands, but n position n being the aggressor.

The small blind and big blind were making you their biyotch. With that K9 clubs I would at least call if not re-raise small or big blind if they were in too many hands. You were pretty card dead but you played 10 9 suited and pocket 77s like a reetard and should have broke near even for the session.

What the small and big blind were doing to you in this game they near constantly do to you in WSOP Battle For The Bracelets on Xbox 360 anytime you open up your game what so ever. Dude it is very hard for someone to have a very strong hand in the first two or last two positions(sb/bb) mathematically so you have to take advantage of this. 9 times out of 10 they don't have a big hand and every once in a while they do you can still get lucky. This is a really good strategy to use especially when you have a 3x or more larger stack than the opponent. Also Stacked on PS2 is good for cash game training it simulates a very dry nitty no action cash game but always a few hours in players will get desperate and dumb and start doing dumb shit like shoving on you pre with pocket 55s.

I watch your vlogs to learn… not to coach… but if I may, because you play certain ranges pre flop, that makes you readable. That’s why they fold as you raise pre flops. When they call or raise you, that means they have strong hands, and they get you post flops (like quad kings) in addition they easily bluff you post flops knowing you fold if they don’t connect with the board…. Again… I don’t like to coach… just my opinion… you may want to consult with a professional coach?! Good luck 👍 ❤
Honestly just seems like a results oriented comments. If I get a lot of callers it’s because I’m raising too small, if I don’t get enough it’s because I’m being too tight or raising too big.

Table selection is key. There are so many tables in Vegas. Look for one with drinks flowing, sounds like a party, and try to get on that one.

Vegas is about the worst place in the country to grind out low/med stakes as the tables are mostly compromised of full-time local tough tight grinders
