Beadaholique does the best jewelry making videos. I just constantly use my pause button in order to keep up. It works great for me...
Got paracord and stuff for christmas and the instructions that came with it made no sense and just proved to drive me up the wall! This was a good tutorial and it helped me a lot! Now I have paracord bracelets!! (: Thank you!!
@arlena ung - You do need to melt the ends of the cord to keep it from fraying and also to secure the knot. I imagine you may be able to use glue, but you might need quite a bit to seal the end of the cord, and don't forget to get some into the last knot to secure it as well. I'm not sure if it would work, but you could definitely experiment.
Loved this video. Very easy to follow. I watch bow making and headband making videos on here all of the time. This video is the easiest of them all. Thank you for putting this video on.
Got a kit in the mail for paracord bracelet and the instructions made no sense at all. Watched your video a dozen times, stopping it, and got the bracelet made! Thank you so much! :)
HOW!!

Your video makes it easier to follow, I've watched a lot of them, but they make it look confusing. lol. Thanks, I will do some practice with regular nylon cord before I use the paracord.
My very first attempt making the same bracelet. I love it! :)
Thanks for this clear, detailed vid. I was able to make two bands in a short amount of time. I'm giving them as gift. Thanks again!
thanks for this video. it is the ONLY video i have watched on paracord bracelets that i could understand!!
I made my first Paracord using your video. Thank you so much!!!
I learned how to do macrame square knots when I was little. My mom taught me how. I learned how to adapt these knots into paracord bracelets from one of our customer service specialists, Jason, who has a ton of experience making paracord jewelry.
I made my very first two color one tonight using the buckle and two colors of paracord; I chose dark blue and yellow. It turned out very nice.
Explanation was easy to follow ! coloring, lighting was great and far better than any other directions I could find. Thank you!
Thank you, thank you! I have been wondering how to make this bracelet. So simple. Can't wait to show my niece.
Thank you so much I have made one bracelet and four keychains using your method!! I kept repeating over, over, under, through. You made this a great hobby to make time go by faster!! I actually use a stick lighter to burn the edges. When I used to small lighter the flame got to close but I still use it to mold the edges down though.
first video I came to, got it right away ! Thank you so much ! I'll be doing a lot of bracelets !
Thank you for a really great clear, easy to follow tutorial!
Amazing!!!! Thank you Beadaholique. The demonstrations are simple enough to follow!
Excellent video..one thing I might suggest as a caution, lighters could explode should the heat from the chord melt or puncture the side of the lighter when you're fusing the chord. Maybe another option would be to have a spoon or other object near by and use that to press the hot cord instead of the side of the lighter..just a thought..well done..:-)
I use the metal guard on the top. Safer than pushing it onto the plastic.
When im not feeling lazy, I have a smoothing tool.
Do you know how hot that melted cord would have to be to put a hole in the side of the lighter? What you're suggesting is practically impossible.
@@eric8477 that's exactly what I was thinking... i used to throw them in to fires when I was younger and even in the heart of a bonfire it would take a while for them to cook off. I know now, and knew then how dumb it was, but when you're drunk and in your early 20's dumb shit happens. I did learn that lighters are tougher than solo cups though so melted paracord isn't going to melt through it.
Thanks it's awesome my grandma bought the ingredients awhile ago but could never figure it out but I used this video to help me.
Very thorough! Thanks for the tutorial!
Thanks for the video I've been making these bracelets non-stop

Great bracelet!Love it!
Thank you for showing how to do the buckle attachment. I have to say, I've never seen someone do the knot that way. You can also alternate putting the cord on top instead of having to do a over first, then under first method. Left on top to start the knot, then right on top to start the next knot, and so on. Thank you for the video!! I used to make bracelets with embroidery thread using this knot. Hundreds of those things! lol
Makes Sense. Thank you for sharing that tip!
I've never made a bracelet out of paracord I just use string but I really want to try this it looks like fun and the bracelets turn out really cool. can't wait to make one! thanks for the how to
Love your video Megan. I wish I could get someone to make me one of those two color cobra bracelets.
nice video!! Love how you included safety in it!!! Believe me, when I tell you molten nylon from 550 hurts!!!! Being a parachute rigger, got many a burn with that stuff! heheheh
Haha and this is why we don't use grampa's zippo fro WWII lol.
Great video, perfect instructions! And your funny :)
thank god! thank you i tried a billion other ways to combine string, none of them worked but this one did!
i love this(: my paracord hasn't came in yet, yet i know how to tie the knots already! id love to see more videos please(:
Awesome video thanks helped me fix my bracelet that needed adjustment
wow, this is very nice and a simple - well done !
Bullshit, she wasted 7 minutes talking about some stuff when she could have fused from the beginning
love your videos.they teach me alot
this is a lot easier then what I thought it would be thanx for the info.
Measurements: 43mm long when fastened, 21mm wide. The cord openings are 14.5mm (0.6 inches) wide.
Thank you. Your video is very easy to follow. Gotta make these for the girls.
Thank you! The directions that came with my bracelet was hard to understand. My daughter and I just made our first bracelet together. It was fun and we plan on doing more.

I made a lovely orange one the other night; I think I will use two colors in a future bracelet
@Anna Grayson - You'll need about a foot of each color of cord for each inch of knotting. www.beadaholique.com/t-ba-project-B1066.aspx?TH-cam&
Thanks, you did a good job on explaining how to make
Wow! Thank you, this was very helpful and I plan to try it soon. :)

Yes, all of the paracord we carry at Beadaholique is 550. Have you tried taking the core out of the cord? It gives the finished weave an interesting flat look and makes it much smaller. You can see an example on our Free Beading Projects page at Beadaholique: the Narrow Paracord Bracelet.
I made mine too big so I turned it into a cat collar now my kitty has a new collar that fits purfectly
is it rlly a collar for your cat now?!?!
Yup it was way to big for me and it fits my cat but it is a little lose on her
lol thats hilarious
Yeah I know
Goddammnit barb... Rt reference haha
There are ways that you can add more colors by fusing the cords together and using them as one cord (so that half of the cord is one color and the other half is another). You can always experiment to see how it works out.
I cut six foot lengths, so two six foot pieces, 12 feet total. To get more info on how to make the Basic 2 Color Paracord Bracelet - Green and Blue (Project B1066) click on the link for it in the video description underneath this video.
I DID LEARN...!!! THANKS A LOT...
Well done! I enjoyed watching and listening to your methods.... "Cool" Beadaholique.. "Thank you"..
kc
"Therapeutic!" i had to use (spell check) "This is!"
This is so cool I am going to do this when i get home
I made mine for the guy I like I'm so excited to give it to him!
Good stuff! Keep it up👍
That was so cool! After I saw the video I made one myself

This tutorial was designed to use paracord. You can definitely make knotted bracelets using other types of cord, but I wouldn't recommend trying to burn or melt the ends of a cord if you don't know it's fiber content and what the flame will do to it.
This video is the only one that explains how to do this clearly. I watched this video once, then I made a belt.
Thanks!! This helped a lot!!
thank you so much I make these all the time now thanks

I've noticed it's easier to use the blue part of the flame other words side of its base. Just right temperature.

thankyou so much i did not know how to do this i watch you vidie and know i can make them for my friends and family and me thankyou so much
Are you looking for the same braid with only one strand down the middle, or for a different braid that only uses 3 cords?
Awesome I want one
You make it look easy
Perfect video ❤
Unfortunately, this technique requires the ends of the cords to be melted to seal them and to secure them. This will leave a dark spot on many colors and types of cord. It's not sharp or rough if you smooth it before it's cool. The only thing I can suggest for the color is using darker colors of cords.
