I wish I had seen them at the Keswick. I bet this was an awesome show.. I saw them in Austin at the end of a driving rain storm. It was a good show, just depressing that we had to stand in the rain. It was originally scheduled to be at an indoor venue down the street. Also discovering I am getting too old to stand for a 3 hour show. Despite living in Texas, I have seen several shows at the Keswick and it is one of my favorite places to see shows at. If I wasn't allergic to snow, I would consider moving up that way.

This is a beautiful set of music. Lifelong TD fan, unfortunately they didn't come through the Rockies. Just skipped right over us. I saw them in 2005, best show I've ever seen.
From a concert-goer and fan, this piece was beautiful. In my viewing, there were 5 advertisement breaks that I wish did not interrupt this piece.

Risky Business
I toured with TD in early 1980’s as stage lighting technician. They had revox tape recorders back stage with backing tracks that would start rolling and the band would or would not improvise .
Their sessions are 100% live - as they were pre 1980
oh wow - Risky Business reworked!
They are moving away from the "electronic rock" genre and more toward "Ambient" style.
On this tour, they have been playing an 1,1/2 hour really powerful rock set with Choronzon and other goodies, followed by a 1/2 hour mellow and cerebral improv 'session'. Go see them if you can, quite extraordinary!
@@joeldewitt3716 Too late. They played 9/23 in my area...😞 The is the first time I missed them. I saw them in Detroit in 1986 (Underwater Sunlight tour, then in Philadelphia in 1988 (Optical Race), and then again in 1992 in Philly (Rockoon). Maybe I'll catch them the next time...

It was exactly the same in Leipzig on Tuesday. It's nice to hear the old songs in a new arrangement, as well as new songs, but the band lets themselves be represented by playing computer memory and it's not a live production at all.
