Traditional break-in is the way to go!
I would recommend to use a yoga mat and about 2-4 dumbbells, they make the breaking in process much faster and glove out preservers the leather so it lasts longer, love the color way
Glove oil
The yoga mat and weights are a good idea, I didn’t think of that. As for glove oil, I used a little on my blonde a2k and it made a stain on the web. 44s blonde is a lot lighter in color, so that’s why I didn’t use the glove oil. Thanks for the comment!

It’s ok. It really makes a difference quickly if you break the glove in thumb to pinky. If your glove is already broken in, you will start to notice a difference in thumb to pinky in a week or two

for yall who have 44 how long did it take to come in
Like it says on their website, 4-6 weeks. I got mine in 4 1/2 because I live in Washington, closer to San Diego where the gloves are made. If you lived in New York for example, it might take closer to 6
Any updates on this glove? How is it working for you? How much work did it take to break-in?
It’s great! Still pretty stiff, but I can close it the way I like it. 44s generally take a long time to break in well, and it’s not fully broken in

Do you like your 44 better than your A2K?
A2K is much better quality, but 44 is great for the price, plus it’s custom
I got creases on the back of it help me I don’t like it
There’ll be creases that naturally form on the back of your glove, because there isn’t such thing as perfectly smooth leather. It’s totally normal, and I’m not sure if you can get rid of it

Why did u untie the lacing when establishing the break points
It easier to hit the spots with the mallet. It doesn’t work as well if I’m just hitting the laces

Tie it the same way the other laces are tied on the glove

About how long did it take to get the Pinky to Thumb way
Haven’t got it all the way there yet, still working on it, but if I would have worked on my glove every day, I could’ve done it in about a week

??? That’s the way to break in a glove, whether you like it or not. Watch any other video on TH-cam and it will be the same. The only other way that I’ve seen is hot water
