The river is 4 hours away from anyone not living in forks or Port Angeles. I doubt there will be a caravan. Doesn’t even mean they know how to fish or or have a raft to float
You could have just said "in Forks" and people would have all the information they needed. The Calawah is a small river with not much pressuree, the more videos that go online naming it, the more folks who will want to fish it
You know I love the video but now when you go back don't be surprised if every steelheader or weekend warrior will be on that river now idk if you live there but we have had the same problems where I am with out of town Facebook groups of 10 guys showing up to one hole to where you can't even cast in let alone land one without five other guys hooking it.I will say you guys handled those natives well it disgust me when I see some in experienced fisherman or woman reel in a fish an start crying cause it's a wild
Actually me and my groups of 50 friends just started to fish this river every day after this video popped up. We like to snag most of the fish we see and leave them on shore to die after we catch them. Anyways tho thanks for the river name loser we’re gonna have a blast catching all your fish
I am headed to the west coast for the first time next week, renting a car and trying to find a place to swing for a fish or two. One thing I will not do is brag anything up or name rivers when I get back home- I owe the people of Oregon, and the fish, that much

I bet you consider yourself a conservative to. I fished and hunted all over the US before TH-cam was a thing and worked my tail off. Now people spot burn for easy fame and others wonder why the recourse aren't respected. One word, Special.

Why name the river?
Bummer naming that river for all those who work so hard to not name names. Try PNW steelhead adventure next time as the title.
