      A level Physics is MUCH harder for me. The content is more, the complexity is more & even as an A level Maths student myself, the maths in A level Physics is still harder.

      @@bigup2you Omg...I used to do A-level Physics myself and dropped it. I know how hard it was for me because it was maths based, I feel sorry for you... doing both seems like a nightmare....

    at GCSEs i’d nv got anything lower than an 8 in maths.
    A LEVEL MATHS KNOCKED ME TF OUT! I’ve nv got anything higher than a B and i’m prettt sure my average grade is like a low C 😭

      No you don’t, not at all! Biology and chemistry are helpful but maths is really not needed. I would always take a 3rd a level you enjoy and are good at. x

      @@annarebecca I’m in such a weird situation because every you tuber says you don’t need a level maths and that you should take a subject you like and in my case that’s PE, however the head of chemistry at my school has said that it’s essential to take maths and not taking it would be a huge disadvantage if you want to do medicine. Do you think I should take maths to do medicine even if I don’t like it?

      @@rcheese3094 honestly math isnt required to get into medicine and if you think about it, you never really need it. ive heard so many people say that physics and math virtually useless for medicine. go with PE and do something you enjoy!

    I use to get bad grades in maths in year 10 and once year 11 started but before year 11 ended I started getting 70-80 % and on my mocks I got grade 6 and now I’m wondering if i will manage with maths alevel :( I’m scared

      same! ive never been naturally good at maths, but i worked hard to get my grade up after i got a 6 in my mock. im still worried because i have to put in sm effort to even be average at it thoo

    Do you recommend the cgp guides over the Pearson guides? I’ve just finished AS and am struggling

      Ive personally nerve used the Pearson guides and have always loved the CGP guides for getting everything you need in a simple way!

    Do you think if you weren't good at gcse do you think you can do it at a level and get an A?

      I think it depends why you weren’t good, If you didn’t try super hard or didn’t really take the time to understand it then definitely if you work hard a a level. But if you really struggled to understand the GCSE content, then i think it would be really hard to get an A at a level as they are a lot harder then GCSE’s.     Is it possible to not choose a level maths? I really don’t like maths and I had really hard time with as level maths

      OF COURSE!!! I look back and sometimes wish I didn’t take it. 😂 you really really don’t need it, its a good a level but if your struggling or don’t like it then I wouldn’t you don’t need it for medicine you only need biology and chemistry and then a third one you ENJOY!

      @@annarebecca chemistry is way harder than maths. I studied the A2 content in 2 weeks. I don’t recommend it but no choice. Practice is the best for maths.

    Is it possible to do maths a level in 3 months because school has recently kicked me out I’m year 12

      yes if you work really hard, but it will be tough its a really hard a level but I’m sure if you put your head down you could do it

      I did the whole chemistry gcse in 3 months over summer and got a 9. You can do it, for sure. And yes there are wordy questions

      Hey yes. If you do 13 pages everyday of all a1 and a2 textbooks from edexcel, you can finish it in 108 days

      Yesterday I was doing maths questions from a maths textbook and I accidentally missed a few questions. Those questions I missed made it impossible for me to move on, so I redid the page again.

      I learnt my igcse in combine science within a week and a half so I’m sure you’ll do fine. I got 6 and 6 which is pretty rubbish for me.

      @@annarebecca I'm doing online school, and the rate at what I'm learning is much faster than the rate at which I can ask questions and have them explained, so it's very tough, a big emotional rollercoster having to reinvent Math rules sometimes, but I've made it thus far.

    why do people do medicine? who enjoys sitting in a boring dull room a GF looking at peoples dirty infections and dealing with old people with pain. no offence. like what incentive do people have for medicine other than the money?

      You do know that there are so many different types of medical doctors and barely any of them involve sitting in a “dull room” and looking at dirty infections. Surgeons exist, radiologists exist, pathologists exist, EM doctors exist. If you don’t find it appealing, doesn’t mean others will

      @@Aisha_1604 and yeah I suppose some people like helping but unfortunately I’m not so sympathetic. If others get health issues because of smoking or drugs and alcohol related I wouldn’t want to waste my energy on helping them I suppose. Same with reckless drivers involved in accidents

      She from the UK. In the US and Canada it's just math. But in the UK it's maths. Hope this helped.
