I saw these guys at my first show ever. Whole Wheat Bread, AWS, and Catch 22 headlining. It was an interesting line up. It hooked me on shows immediately.
So happy to see this here and seeing the love in the comments. One of my favorite bands ever, legit one of the most underrated of all time. One of the best punk discographys ever. These guys should have huge crowds going nuts for them everywhere they go.
Along with Propagandhi AWS and probably protest thr hero are my favorite melodic punk bands ever, I’ve listened to all these bands albums hundred and hundred of times.
Growing up on this band... Idk why watching this makes me tear up.... I guess cause I love them, and they sound better live, and I've never seen them live. Such a good band, even better chemistry... One of the best out there!

Man, he seems kinda bummed they're not ending with "we built this city". So why not do that? Dropkick ended every show with the same three songs for like 15 years. "We built this city" might end up being the best AWS song. So what? Be proud. You made something incredible, fucking own it. Sing it boys.

No kidding lol. I've seen them twice in Alberta and once in Ontario. The Alberta crowd was WAY better in terms of energy, like you say, a swarm of people all scrambling to yell along with him. Mind you, yeah I think most of these people must've come for somebody else, cause every time I've seen them the crowd has popped off more than your average punk/metal show

love this band, but this was during the really bad time of the delta variant of covid, just as cases were plateauing and at home tests were approved. i want to continuing loving AWS but if they've been anti-vaxxers this whole time im gonna be bummed out edit: looks like that venue or at least some of the venues they played required proof of vax so that's somethin at least, any hardcore fans who come across this, feel free to set my mind at ease/mock me for not knowing the band well enough to assume that they were holding "safe" shows
