This amv is just. The timing is literally perfect on every possible tick, the transition effects are both subtle and extremely effective, the clips are matched creatively and nothing is out of place, while the narrative is completely intelligible and smooth. The song choice is exactly right for exploring Homura's lesser motivations - or I suppose, her self-aware positioning of herself into a monster role. Thank you so much for sharing your work, it is a pleasure for the eye and ear.
Jesus Christ. This is the only anime I really love. And I can say the same about this amv. I like plenty of anime and amvs...but this anime and THIS amv is above them all. It's so utterly perfect and almost scary how well everything fits together like it was made to be combined. It's fantastic. Just amazing!
honestly this has been one of my favorite madoka amvs for years. as others in the comments have said, it's just so fitting and so beautifully edited. i see a lot of wonderful editing tricks here that i've never seen in any other amv period, and even if this is the only amv youve shown us, im beyond glad that you made it

I've watched this video many times already and was always so focused on how great the lyrics fit the scenes, that I never realized how perfectly on beat everything is. It's so smooth and natural, not overloaded with special effects but still includes carefully chosen transitions to make it exciting. Nothing feels off even in the slightest.This is truly an amazing masterpiece.
Say what you will about Rebelion and the plot and what it does to the characters, the visuals alone make it an all-time classic. There are very few movies, animated or live action, where *literally any frame* could be desktop background. Basically nothing compares.
im in the "editing community" and we are always changing and growing. but, i still come back to this. despite a 10 year old project, this still amazes me more than most recent AE works can. Love! It's timeless!

i've watched this probably 30 times and i'll never get bored of it! Your editing is incredible-I love that you re-order events so that the actual moment where Homura grabs Madoka's hands is the last image, with the transformation and events that (plot-wise) follow this moment framed as ominous foreshadowing. It's really powerful that way, absolutely gorgeous.

I cannot describe, how this touched me, how beautifully this is edited and how PERFECTLY it all comes together!! REALLY! This is surely one of the most perfect made AMV! The song fits the scenes, the lyrics were found in the shown pictures (and i love it when the lyrics just fit the video :D) and... yeah, I just can agree to the others, I could watch your video over and over again, never getting bored, I'm trying to show it to as many people I could, because this work has to be shared!!
